The solar eclipse on 3rd November 2013 is the second one we have this
year and in the sign of Libra, the Sun and Moon are joined by
retrograde Mercury and exalted Saturn. As opposed to a lunar eclipse
which often brings things to a dramatic peak or even end, the solar
eclipse is a new beginning. It can be equally as intense as the lunar
eclipse but this time around, we often already see the light at the end
of the tunnel – or at least have a feeling that things are beginning to
turn around. That’s the other thing with the solar eclipse – we start
something new, possibly due to outside influences and we make choices
based on what came out into the open two weeks earlier during the lunar
eclipse but we don’t quite see where we are headed next. Whatever is
beginning now starts to emerge and eventually come to its own natural
end over the next 2-and-a-bit years. I often include these Moon cycles
in my forecasts and as this new Moon is a solar eclipse at the same
time, the first quarter Moon on 4th August 2014, the full Moon on 4th
May 2015 and the last quarter Moon on 1st Feb 2016 will be important
trigger points in what’s beginning to unfold now. How this affects us
individually depends on which are of your chart the eclipse falls in,
which houses in your chart are ruled by the Sun and Moon and which other
planets are aspecting the eclipse – a lot to look at.
So how does the solar eclipse affect your star sign? Continue reading...
