May 2015 horoscope - Scorpio

I follow the sidereal/Vedic calendar; this is the May 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16^th November to 15^th December or Scorpio Ascendants and Moons

Scorpio, with Saturn in your sign, you’ve weeding out and sorting through your life, shedding some pounds, either physically or metaphorically. This has helped you return to yourself or help you become who you want to be and need to be to move forward. This process has also had an impact on your relationships which are one important area of focus this month. But before, then, the full Moon on 4^th May in the area of your chart to do with letting go and reviewing the past year ensure you are ready for something new, either a new relationship if you are single, or deal with relationship matters as they come along. Whatever began in November 2013 is now revealed and dealt with head on – for some Scorpios, this period and the time until the end of May can be a revealing time when it comes to partnerships as you discover new and unknown sides to your partner with an opportunity to deal with conflict and even some secretive behaviour on their side or yours.

This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Swati, ruled by Rahu. Swati is the ‘Great Breath’ and the wind. It’s related to thoughts and ideas, flexible thought processes and getting the word out. If you have something to say, do it now.  In particular, when it comes to (joint) finances where you seem to display considerable ambitions now - usually of the ‘having it all’ variety. Although this nakshatra certainly has a financial element to it, it also has to do with long-distance education, travelling and potentially, a partner who’s at a distance – again, some aspect, idea, philosophy or even opportunity here needs to be let go of or completed. Something that has been happening behind the scenes is revealed now too.

Then, the new Moon on 18^th May is in Taurus and in the area of your chart to do with committed relationships, agreements, contracts and those you operate on a one-to-one basis with. Saturn has imposed a strict code of behaviour onto you and while your expectations when it comes to relationships are realistic, make sure they aren’t less than that, meaning don’t underestimate your value in relationship through pessimistic thinking, ideas and expectations. There clearly are a few things to be discussed in partnerships and with Mercury retrograde until mid-June, you may have to cover old ground. Remember, you have Saturn, the taskmaster in your sign, there simply is no shying away from the truth any longer and from making it clear to others what no longer serves you. During this period, some Scorpios are planning to or are going on a trip with your partner and this may actually be a great idea to escape some of the confrontation or opposition some of you are facing now.
