Annual horoscope 2015 / 2016 - Taurus

Hello Taurus, happy birthday. Are you feeling it? I hope so! Your solar year begins, as it often does with Mars, Mercury and of course the Sun in your sign, bringing a load of energy and determination to finally do what you had been planning to do for some time or even a long time. The difference this year is Saturn, the strict task master is in opposition and this can bring delays and obstacles with it but if you are wise and mature enough, it brings the necessary patience to let things grow at the pace they need to. For many Taureans, relationships are the principal concern and focus these days and Saturn in your opposite sign wants to make sure, you take it easy and build a solid and equal partnership that is based on mutual respect. In particular now, as your new solar year begins, you’ll feel some of the frustration Saturn can impose more clearly – temporarily. Relationships can feel like hard work now but this is a period where you and your partner – whether it’s a business or a romantic relationship - mature past the initial stages to form a long-lasting partnership that allows for readjustments, renegotiations and compromises.

For the time being and in particular at the beginning of your new solar be aware of the bubbling resentment – speak your mind and over the course of the year you’ll see slow and steady progress in turning a relationship around, even if that means you’ll decide to leave. Remember, this is not the time to absorb someone else’s stress, it’s a time to set boundaries and be clear about your needs and hopes for the future – whether that’s around children or about carving out more of your own creative space.

For another couple of months, you’ll have Jupiter on your side when it comes to relationship matters, enabling you to come up with the right words, or even just have the courage to do so. This is a great combination for all business partnerships and establishing your own creative sideline business.

After the summer and for the rest of the solar year, big changes are on the cards. Jupiter in your 4^th house of home and where you live along with Rahu / the North node in your 5^th house of children can mean a number of things. You need more space at home or you need to move because of, well, children, so there may be an addition to the family. Or because you need a garage you can convert into a studio, a meditation space, a gym or a place where you think, write and contemplate. Your home life will turn into a safe haven – but again, only after some initial disruption – the growing pains as I like to call these transits. So, if there is no part of you that wants to move at the moment or thinks this is something you will do over the next 12 months, you may be in for a surprise. Watch out for March 2016.
