September 2013 horoscope - Cancer

Cancer, this is an energetic month for you where you are in high demand for you innovative and competitiveness, your vitality and ability to motivate others around you, in particular in the work place. You come across as very vibrant and if you play your cards right, event charismatic and those in authority will view you as a very capable and inspirational leader. This of course has its advantages if you are looking for new employment that allows you to be more autonomous and build your own business. Cancerians are quite independent when it comes to career anyway but over the past year or so, you may have felt like someone, somewhere keeps the foot on the brakes which in turn may have led you to jump ship and go it alone. Your focus this month is on establishing that niche for yourself and making contact with the relevant people that will help you advance.

September 2013 is also a very creative time and hugely auspicious for creative endeavours of any kind. You always loved making cookies, so why not rent a little stall at the Saturday market to get going! 
 
While this sounds like it’s all work and no fun, don’t worry, September has plenty of fun in store for you! Networking, communication, exchanging ideas and making new contacts is still high on your agenda – and indeed the focus increases as the month goes on – adding to your sense of things moving forward. You’re very imaginative this month and others will appreciate your visionary approach, this in turn may have a beneficial impact on your bank balance. Although there is a new Moon in Leo and in your second house of income on 5^th this month, paradoxically, I don’t necessarily think that this is the main focus in September. New Moons are new beginnings which means that a new cycle that you can’t quite grasp and fully comprehend is beginning now. This new Moon falls into the nakshatra of Purvaphalguni, the 11^th of 27 'wives of the Moon' and one of three that is ruled by the planet Venus. This is a creative nakshatra which broadly speaking brings skills in arts and a love of pleasure. The deity for this star is Bhaga, the God of Prosperity. For you, it may simply mean that it is your own creativity, ideas and also efforts that are the key to success now. Set yourself realistic financial goals and ways and the solutions to increase your income follow. For some Cancerians planning to make some profit on a property, September is a good month to seal the deal. 
 
Connected to a house sale or purchase, there may be talk of moving abroad or connecting with people from abroad. You may still think about it this month but come October, this may actually turn into a more realistic possibility. Many Cancerians have been a little dissatisfied with their home life of late and have perhaps already seen some changes or are now seeing them coming your way. In any case, although you prefer a peaceful and stable home life, you too now recognise that you may have to let go of something, some situation or circumstance. But whatever it is you had to work on or let go of in that respect, September will be a more peaceful month. Perhaps one where you are beginning to make a decision on your home life and where you want to live in the future. The eclipse cycle is hitting all of us in October and November so by now, you probably already have a feeling what will be on the agenda for you then. Equally, once you’ve worked through those changes, your emotional life should also be a little more stable and some of the heaviness around you should lift – or at the very least, you’ll realise why you had to change certain things and where and why you had to let go of unproductive emotional patterns. 
 
The full Moon on 19^th September is in the sign of Pisces and your house of travels, philosophy and the higher mind. Not only will this bring something to a conclusion around learning, mentoring and being mentored, teaching and publishing, it may also bring a long process of realisation to an end, alleviating some of the responsibilities other place on your or the emotional baggage you’re still trying to get rid of.
