Libra, a lot is moving for you this month. The two areas in
your chart which are traditionally associated with the cardinal signs –
therefore progress, forward movement, decision making, results-oriented
behavior and tangible outcomes – are heavily aspected this month. These areas
are your first house and your own sign of Libra as well as your tenth house of
career, profession, vocation, status and life direction. The two areas are
packed with planets so there are numerous possible outcomes. For one, after
having Saturn in your sign for so many months, you are just now emerging as a
new person with new boundaries and expectations. This has an impact on your
relationships too and with Mars in your sign, many are setting the record
straight with a partner or, if you are single, you may now decide to get back
out there and put yourself on the market. The drive and the desire is certainly
there. The only thing that might keep from paying full attention to
relationships now is your career or your purpose in life. People in authority
take up a good deal of your attention now and again – with Saturn still in your
sign – some of you may have recently decided that a change in career has to be
top of the agenda. So those Libras that feel a change has to happen are busy
concentrating on that. There is a lot of communication around work, jobs,
projects, promotions and bonuses happening now and you are very well placed to
make the best of the opportunities that are presented to you these days.
Jupiter is at the top of you chart, in just this area, helping you bring new
stimuli and appeal to your career and life path. It almost feels as though you
are at the top of you game these days – still not without its challenges but
you should start seeing some of fruits of your hard labour at work and in your
personal life.
The full Moon on 10th August in Capricorn is a time
of completion around a certain project – perhaps a home project. The focus is
on your living environment, you inner life, your mother and your past, your
early schooling and what you do and who you are behind closed doors. While the
emphasis is very much still on work, it might have an impact on where you live
which in turn has an impact on your ‘status’…somehow. Again, with Jupiter, the
planet of expansion, part of the mix, you may feel quite proud of your
achievements, perhaps more optimistic than you have done in a long time and
willing or able to gather your inner strength. You are very ‘visible’ at the
moment and for that – perhaps for a new challenge at work – you’ll need all the
inner strength go you can muster. Ideally, during this time, you’ll not only
find a renewed sense of optimism and grounding but you’ll invite some friends
for a BBQ and have a nice time with your family.
Still, cast your thoughts back to what happened or what you
wished for in November and February 2013 – now, this particular situation is
being closed off, you’re done with it and you can move on. Saturn, the ruler of
you emotional and home life is moving direct again so whatever was stuck, it’s
moving to the next level now and you should be getting closer and closer to
what you had hoped to initiate or progress in your life last year around these
times last year.
This full Moon is in the
nakshatra of Uttara Ashada, ruled by the Sun. Under this nakshatra, we are calm
in the eye of the storm, we are able to detach ourselves and therefore maintain
a sense of independence that ensures we don’t let things get to us. Full Moons can always feel a
little intense – Mars is squaring the full Moon, putting us in danger or
overacting (again, sigh!!). Luckily enough that this nakshatra is a dignified
one and although the stellium in Cancer can make us a little needy, the
emotional side seems to be more grounded.
Ahead of the first eclipse in
September following the move into the Pisces / Virgo axis, Rahu / the North
node now opposes Uranus in Pisces. Eclipses alone introduce big changes but
with Uranus, the planet of sudden change involved in this particular eclipse
cycle, events over the coming weeks and months could be indeed life changing.
Be prepared for the unpredictable, life can now take an unexpected turn and you
discover where you truly belong. Generally speaking, this could involve meeting
new groups of people, an exciting new relationship, a change of career or
developing a new interest. It could also involve metaphysics, science,
environmental interests or technology. It’s a breakthrough time for sure and in
your case, it’s something less tangible –
it’s a feeling, an intuition, an insight and a foresight, a sudden inspiration
and even the longing to travel and be abroad for a while. Some Libras, over the
next 18 months might decide to quite the rat race and move to a place that’s
more tranquil and soothing. If health reasons play a part, take the plunge.
By the time the new Moon in Leo comes
around on 24th August, it’s all about money, contracts and profits. Seems as though
whatever discussions you are having at and around work is literally paying off!
Have a great month, Libra!
