Virgo, August for you is a good month – I’ve
decided :) ! It’s a gainful month both
financially and socially. Many Virgos went through a tough first six months of
the year and with Jupiter, the planet of expansion having stirred things up in
your career sector, you may have just come to the conclusion that it’s time to
move on. Jupiter has moved on too after a year of stress, turmoil as well as
opportunities of course, you are in such a great position now to negotiate the
best deal for a new job, a promotion or to launch that new marketing campaign
that brings in a whole range of new clients from places far and wide. Money is
on the cards for you, perhaps including some accolade, a promotion, a prize or
just simply a pay rise. Saturn is also moving direct again in your area of
income and with Mars, the planet of action transiting this part too, you’ll
even be able to plan and build for the future – in the long-term.
If earning money is not so much an object for you (lucky
you!), then it’s about your values and wishes or wish fulfilment. Over the past
years, Virgos have had to decide what’s really important to them and how to
achieve their goals and life ambition – or even define what this means to them.
Jupiter in the area of your chart that deals with the future has a lot to do
with helping you on the right track this month and in fact until the summer of
2015. This new feeling and mood also makes usually reserved Virgos more outgoing,
social and turns you into right party animals…within limits of course. In any
case, new people will certainly enter your life and again, with Jupiter’s help,
someone special might be amongst them if you are single and want to change
that.
The full Moon on 10th August in Capricorn is a time
of completion around a certain (creative and long-term) project, it puts the
spotlight on you having some fun, letting your hair down and in some way,
perhaps introduces these new people or this special someone to you. It can be a
quite romantic time for you where you are simply who you are. In a more
abstract sense, this is also a time of turning a profit from speculative
ventures, from working in a group with other people, for a social cause, as a
fundraiser or teacher. In any case, cast your thoughts back to what happened or
what you wished for in November and February 2013 – now this particular
situation is being closed off, you’re done with it, you can move on and
progress. You should be getting closer and closer to what you had hoped to
initiate or progress in your life last year around these times. This full Moon
is in the nakshatra of Uttara Ashada, ruled by the Sun. Under this nakshatra,
we are calm in the eye of the storm, we are able to detach ourselves and
therefore maintain a sense of independence that ensures we don’t let things get to us. Full Moons can
always feel a little intense – Mars is squaring the full Moon, putting us in
danger or overacting (again, sigh!!). Luckily enough that this nakshatra is a
dignified one and although the stellium in Cancer can make us a little needy,
the emotional side seems to be more grounded.
Ahead of the first eclipse in September following the move across your axis of self and committed relationships, Rahu / the North node now opposes Uranus in Pisces.
Eclipses alone introduce big changes but with Uranus, the planet of sudden
change involved in this particular eclipse cycle, events over the coming weeks
and months could be indeed life changing. Be prepared for the unpredictable,
life can now take an unexpected turn and you discover where you truly belong.
Generally speaking, this could involve meeting new groups of people, an
exciting new relationship, a change of career or developing a new interest. It
could also involve metaphysics, science, environmental interests or technology.
It’s a breakthrough time for sure and in your case, it had to do with relationships and the amount of freedom you need in a
partnership versus the amount of freedom your partner requires. It’s a give and
take time and although it doesn’t exactly denote stability, it introduces a
change of whatever kind you have been waiting for or need. It can break up old
behaviour patterns, change your outlook on relationships or if you have been
single for a long time, suddenly that changes. The focus however, is more on
you and your expectations, needs and identity and any change here now impacts
on your partnerships. In a way, not a bad position to be in.
The new Moon in Leo on 24th August is in the sign before
yours. It’s a time to simply lean back and let others be the centre of
attention – not that this is ever your thing but for a change, just don’t be
the one to do all the dirty work now. Let others do that. Go on holiday,
daydream and think about the task ahead – it’ll be a busy, busy year for you
socially and professionally…soon. Have a great month, Virgo!
