Cancer, it’s eclipse season and the solar eclipse in Pisces takes place on 20th March 2015 while the Pluto – Uranus square is in
full swing, the last time for a long time but it puts the some of the pressure
you’ve been feeling over the past couple of years already back on the agenda – in your case around thinking, teaching and learning, communicating and
new experiences versus daily routines, work and situations that constantly
require you to rebalance and play the role of the diplomat.
Generally speaking, eclipses have the potential to create powerful events
in our lives and what will be triggered around the time of the eclipse often
emerges up to three months prior to the eclipse. It’s an emotionally charged and dramatic
time, often accompanied by partnership make-up or break-ups. With Uranus being
a constant companion of this particular eclipse cycle, things could develop
very suddenly. For you, this eclipse is all
about expanding your horizons, either through
contact with people from an entirely different background, higher
education, or discovering your personal philosophy in life – or change the way you think about your life’s philosophy. For others, it may all be about teaching others, mentoring
and being mentored – in any case, this eclipse is connected to you starting the
process of learning something new, possibly about yourself and your
expectations for the future, your beliefs and world view. In Vedic astrology,
this is also the house of marriage, so expect a new cycle to start here that
unfolds over the next six months and up to the next two and a half years.
This solar eclipse is in the
nakshatra of Uttarabhadra, ruled by Saturn. During this period, there is a
profound tendency to protect and secure the status quo, established structures
and systems which have been in place for a long time already. It’s the
nakshatra fo thee ‘later auspicious result’ where we go deeper into the subject
matter and where we understanding better what life is all about. We now make a
commitment to being of service, the higher cause, to selflessness and most
important to a spiritual awakening. A perfect time for you to
reaffirm what you belief in or let it evolve…
As the month ends, it’s quite literally back to work and career –
demanding and fast-paced as it will be, it can also be quite rewarding to be challenged
and in the spotlight for a job well done. Have a great month, Cancer!
