Leo, it’s eclipse season and the solar eclipse in Pisces takes place on 20th March 2015 while the Pluto – Uranus square is still in full swing, the last time for a long time.
This just means that it puts the some of the
pressure you’ve been feeling over the past couple of years already back on the
agenda – in your case around children, self-expression, the joy
in life, fun, romance and creativity (writing, performing, theatre, being on
(whichever) stage and producing something that unique to you) which is
challenged by (shared) resources, money, family matters, intimacy, secret behaviour,
sudden transformation and death and re-birth-type situations. Especially your
shared resources and sources of financial income are under pressure from the
eclipse now.
Generally speaking, eclipses have the potential to create powerful events
in our lives and what will be triggered around the time of the eclipse often
emerges up to three months prior to the eclipse. It’s an emotionally charged and dramatic
time, often accompanied by partnership make-up or break-ups. With Uranus being
a constant companion of this particular eclipse cycle, things could develop
very suddenly.
For you, this eclipse is all about testing your faith in yourself and your intuition, facing some of your anxieties and insecurities while
looking at issues of sexuality and matters of spirituality. Again, shared resources, family money, your partner’s
money, your joint values and possessions come into focus. This may feel like a
time of crises to you and something has to ‘die’ (not necessarily literally)
before a new situation or reality can emerge. Relationships and issues around
those (if there are issues) also feature strongly now. This eclipse is your
opportunity to start afresh when it comes to trust and your
sense of security – perhaps after some sudden change, emergency or a crisis
that shakes you up a little. For some Leos, it might also be a time for
counselling…
This solar eclipse is in the
nakshatra of Uttarabhadra, ruled by Saturn. During this period, there is a
profound tendency to protect and secure the status quo, established structures
and systems which have been in place for a long time already. It’s the
nakshatra fo thee ‘later auspicious result’ where we go deeper into the subject
matter and where we understanding better what life is all about. We now make a commitment
to being of service, the higher cause, to selflessness and most important to a
spiritual awakening.
Later on, towards the end of the
month, Venus and Mars travel through the area of your chart to do with higher
education, publishing, travelling – and in Vedic astrology, it’s also the area
of your chart to do with marriage. All of these areas are energised now and
once the Sun, your ruler, arrives there in April, some of the worry and stress
