It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new life as
Nina Simone once put it. Something’s in the air and something’s shifting. After
a year which in all likelihood saw you involved in a number of petty arguments
and deal with imbalances of some sort either in your personal or your home
life, the focus now shift to your romantic and most committed relationships.
These also include your professional ones. As you go into June, your ruler
Jupiter, alongside Venus, Mercury, the Sun and Moon, move into your opposite
sign of Gemini and your 7th house of relationships, agreements, contracts and
trade. Combined with the new Moon in Taurus on 8th June in
your area that rules your work and day to day activities, it’s likely you’ll be
negotiating a new work contract or project plan that lands on your desk around
that time. Equally, this could be a bonus you get the sign off for and which
you’ve been working towards for a long time (the eclipses in May should have
moved things along nicely). In any case, some of the balance you’ve been
missing seems to be restored now and you will naturally identify more with
marriage, union and generous agreements than you did over the past year. Having
said that, Jupiter is your ruler and for most signs, having this expansive
planet in opposition usually heralds a good portion of optimism in life in
general and relationships with others in particular. All of this will be available
to you too, however, as a Sagittarius you are a born optimist, you are the sign
that rules optimism but the downside of this is that this comes arm in arm with
huge expectations – and Jupiter in opposition expands this even further. So be
warned, you’ve probably heard it here first but while the next year opens doors
for new love, romance and new encounters, your never ending optimism and your
high hopes may mean you come back down to earth with a bigger bang than you had
foreseen.
We know you’re going through some profound changes and that Uranus / Pluto square grinding away at your foundations is getting a little irritating now but try so especially with Jupiter in opposition, keep it realistic, don’t overpromise and under-deliver and you should have no one coming after you in the dark for not staying true to your word. In any case, partnerships and agreements are highlighted this month and if you are single, then this is your time of the year to change this if you are so inclined. Your mind is in the right place and potential suitors could really emerge from various corners and paths of life. What you do with all that abundance is up to you…
Although Jupiter is the planet of plenty and although he doesn’t feel too comfortable in nitty gritty Gemini, this is nevertheless a favourable placement for those that are planning to teach, train, write and report. Over the course of the year but especially in June, your rediscovered contract-building abilities will also stretch to you negotiating property deals if you are thinking about buying or selling.
Then, despite the ongoing Pluto / Uranus square, a grand air trine formed by Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, the Sun and the Moon this month is a beautiful and welcome respite for many of us. Our ideals are high this month and our ideas far reaching. Just as the summer begins in the Northern hemisphere, we are ready to socialise and interact with others a lot more than usual. From the interaction with others, new ideas and concepts are formed, new associations developed, new facts picked up and experiences made. For you, Sagittarius, this connects your network of friends and acquaintances with your ideas, project management skills, creative input and your newly found ability to get the deal done and the agreements signed. As with all transits this combination can manifest itself on a number of levels but the two most obvious ones are a) that if anyone gets the business deals done at work it’s you through your communications and networking skills or b) if you’re after a new relationship, it’s via your friends, via the sport club or even your siblings that romance opens its door for you. By the time of the full Moon on 23rd June, you are ready to sign on the dotted line and also know whether or not you’re actually ready to make a commitment.
