Happy birthday Taurus! This is a month just how you like. Money is coming your way and so are new people, new acquaintances and friends. Hey Gemini, hope you’re having fun! After a whirlwind, life-changing, challenging but hopefully ‘productive’ few months, May is shaping up to be a very sociable and gainful month. Making new business contacts, winning new clients and initiating some long-term project, implementing an idea you’ve been working on for a long time or simply having a good time with friends is all on the cards. You are turning into a great networker this month so you may find it easy to operate in a place where people need to be connected. You’re commercially astute now so it’s easy for you to benefit financially from the current transits. Cancer, over the past years, you have developed a strong tolerance and acceptance in others’ beliefs, religion and liberty in their way of life. This in turn has made it harder for you to adapt and conform to organised faith, or any form of belief and way of life which is automatically accepted. Perhaps you’ve developed fairly eccentric points of view. This is does not sound like the typical Cancerian type and on top of that you’ve developed a strong sense of adventure. You’re keen to travel to different places, meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and break free from the constraints of a daytime job. Leo, your bank account has seen rosier days and April in particular was a stressful month in that respect. Not that the pressure on your purse eases over night, some transits and aspect are now more supportive of your ventures than previously. First of all, Mars, the planet of action, is moving forward again and Venus is exalted in your house of other people’s money, loans, inheritance and wills. This is a somewhat helpful placement that sweetens the load, if only slightly and temporarily. You may still have to deal with financial matters that you’ve had on your plate since the beginning of the year – perhaps also related to your house and home – that you can now progress with and find a solution for. You’ve already put a lot of effort into sorting out your resources, so hang on in there. You are in a cycle of expanding your network of friends and business associates so why not knock on their door to see if you can link up with any of them and strike a deal or get referred to potential clients..who knows what will come back to you. May 2014 horoscope - Virgo

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the monthly solar horoscope for birthdays from 16^th September to 15^th October or Virgo Ascendants and Moons

Virgo, you are one of the signs that was affected most by the recent (and ongoing!) Grand Cross and the past months may have proved to be the more challenging and life-changing period thus far. Many aspects of your life seemed to be boiling away in a pressure cooker and you some of you may still be wondering when it’ll ever end. Not to worry, Virgos, as we enter May, this energy is still around but nothing like it was in April. Although some of you are still going over old ground and you have to deal with the same issues – mainly around finances, loans, mortgages, tax, insurance, your partner’s money and your own personal and perhaps physical transformation. On top of that, it’s all still about communication, skills, training, learning something new and changing or expanding your life direction. What you’ve had to deal with since the beginning of the year is moving forward again – slowly – with Mars, the planet that currently transits your sign moving forward again this month.
