April 2014 horoscope - Gemini

Gemini, you and I know that the past year has been a hectic, eye-opening, life-changing, busy and also challenging year for you. Much has happening around relationships, work, home and how you see yourself and your path head. It’s simply been an intense roller coaster ride. Now, April will give you a little bit more of that – don’t worry, we’re all in the same boat here but in different ways. What happening this month though is that – hopefully – you’ll be able to cross a line, make significant progress and overcome those challenges or stumbling blocks in the areas I’ve just mentioned. Geminis react quickly and are able to move on quickly and if anyone, then it’s you who can take things in a more lighthearted way. And it may be exactly this ability that will be your get-out-clause this month. I won’t talk too much about Jupiter in your sign this time; yes, your relationships have changed and continue to do so for a while, many of you wanted to be in a relationship and made strides towards getting what you want out of it (and again, continue to do so)…wasn’t it for those intense moments and perhaps demanding partners, everything would be even rosier in the garden.

 

In any case, your social status, your career, your reputation and what you are known for or who you are known for is something you’ll focus more on this month, alongside a few parties and social events. You’ll be filing on your career this month, perhaps talking and connecting with a few people, reaching out to your contacts and getting together with the people that matter and are supportive of your objectives. Creativity and the ability to think outside of the box matter now, get someone else to focus on the details and small print, that’s currently not your strength. If you do work in a creative field and one that is not so strictly regulated, you’ll do well now – your sudden insights are appreciated and required. Later on in the month, you’ll get down to the financials, marketing and selling your services and products is becoming a big part of what you’ll focus on. 

 

This month is also eclipse month and you pick up on what happened around October 2012 and continued in July 2013. Something is moving into its final stages with the lunar and the solar eclipses taking place in April. Eclipses are tied to changing circumstances which over the past 18 months, and most likely more, have become necessary for your growth. The first eclipse on 15^th April 2014 is a lunar eclipse in the area of your chart to with children, writing and performance. Some of you may be making an announcement in this area! Generally speaking, lunar eclipses are relationship-oriented and a time when we suddenly realise a great need or want. The impact can bring certain relationships to an end but it can also have the opposite effect. Some couples realise they can’t live without each other. Eclipses usually entail a change in status, so a break in the path, a milestone and a tipping point. This is the last one in the series of eclipses across the Libra and Aries axis so some of the same issues of the past year may crop up again, especially those that have continued to fester underneath the surface. 

 

The solar eclipse on 28^th April 2014 is then a new beginning, a new cycle and a break from the old path. While you may not know exactly what the new path looks and feels like - the Sun that gives light and insight, the Moon blocks the light of the Sun temporarily – a new spiral of personal development is set into motion. A lot now has to do with profits, the value of your services and again, communicating something to friends, associates and acquaintances. Planning, admin and working towards something also features…

 

So, April is an intense month not only due to the eclipses but also due to the squares and oppositions between Uranus, Pluto, Mars and Jupiter – a lot is shifting for you and all of us, progressing and coming to the surface. 

 

You end the month with Venus in Pisces, a great placement and in the area of your chart, again, to do with your ‘status’, career and reputation. Looking for another job may be less of a challenge now, you may magnetically attract the right offers but it’ll also smoothens out the intensity and perhaps aggressive atmosphere that’s been in the air at home.
