May 2014 horoscope - Taurus

Happy birthday Taurus! This is a month just how you like. Money is coming your way and so are new people, new acquaintances and friends. You may suddenly develop a keen interest in a new hobby or a desire to be part of something a bit different, a special cause and a community. In any case, you’re very much the centre of attention now, you’re literally able to attract things to you, things that make you feel secure, valued and appreciated. This can range from other people, possessions, your family and spending more time at home. This extra boost of energy may be just what you need with a demanding work schedule and some niggling health issues you’ve been putting off. Start exercising, find a solution to deal with tricky work colleagues but don’t blame others for your potential state of discontent. You may have to plan your daily life more meticulously now in order to keep everything under control and to avoid being ‘caught out’ – even if you are not at fault. 

 

The full Moon on 14^th May is in just this area of your chart, so whatever happened in November 2012 is coming to light, is being completed and finalised. This could be a work contract or a health matter. This full Moon is in nakshatra of Vishaka, ruled by Jupiter. For all of us, there is a need to strengthen our will and our emotions – this is a motivated and ambitious part of the chart so we can achieve a lot here especially in a social sense. Balance and justice is now very important so there can be a certain intensity to do the right thing. Be careful of coming across as too self-righteous despite meaning well and despite a determination to work out the right path and to get to the truth. This is a forceful, quick-witted and brilliantly intelligent placement, use it to your advantage. 

 

The month ends with the new Moon on 28^th May in your own sign. This is a beautiful time for you and one where you can make a wish, plan for the year ahead and put your energy into something that you’ve been meaning to do for a long time. For some Taureans, this can have to do with house and home – money is still looking excellent and contracts and negotiations of some sort are part of the picture now. If you are looking to build a more secure foundation and future for yourself, now is the time – wait and see the first results emerge in February of 2015…this also includes relationships, which after a bit of toing and froing over the past few months are moving forward, progressing and flowing a bit better again.
