Gemini, Pluto in your opposite sign has been transforming your
relationships for quite some time and with Uranus at the top of your chart,
your life direction and for some career is in flux too. Now, this is nothing
new, it’s been going on for a few years and you are on the final stretch. This
month, however, with Mercury, your ruler, in an area that makes you more
withdrawn and introspective, even shy to outsiders, you have time to
contemplate what all the changes in your life and the increased responsibility in
certain areas mean for you. In particular as Mercury is still going backwards
until 11th, you’ll have plenty of time to
let the past months or more sink in.
That’s one part of what is happening, as the month begins with the full
Moon in Cancer on 3rd February. This falls into the area of your chart to do with your income
and family, putting whatever happened in August 2013 to an end or allowing it
to move to the next level. Together with Jupiter in the same area in your
chart, it could be ‘big’. It may be time for a pay rise or savings plan,
depending on your situation but it could also just be a lot of paperwork to do
with your (shared) resources – ha! Who said applying for a mortgage, sorting
out your tax return or managing family assets is fun. Well, hopefully, it is
for you as for a good deal of the month, you’ll have to focus your time and
energy on these things.
This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Aslesha, ruled by Mercury. During
this time, you are thinking about your feelings and it is the nakshatra of the
‘Entwiner’. You may get tangled up and entwined in your own and other people’s
emotional dramas but you may also just ‘get involved’ with other people. Being
‘entwined’ is fine in certain circumstances, for example, when the child needs
a close emotional bond but when the child becomes an adult, the mother needs to
start letting go an ‘untangle’. So during this time, you may be reluctant to
let go as your emotions take precedence over much of the other things in your
life and the area ruled by the Moon – your money, values, possessions &
family – and with Jupiter nearby, becomes of great importance.
Then, both Venus and Mars travel hand in hand through Aquarius and then
later on through Pisces from mid-month. While in Aquarius, the pair joins up
with Neptune, putting you into an optimistic, creative and forward-looking
mood. Many Gemini’s are either planning their summer holidays or looking at
other ways to learn something about the world – always curious and easily
bored, Gemini’s are keen to understand the mysteries of life, learn about spirituality
and follow intuitive sparks of insight.
This kind of means that whereas
before, you had a slight inkling, a vague idea and nascent emotions about
something, now it hits you right in the face, it’s put at your feet, it knocks
at your door – quite suddenly and without warning. To make it more precise, the
keywords, issues or opportunities, you’ll be faced with pretty much all month
are: shared resources and income, intimacy and future life direction, new experiences
and insights. For some, Geminis, their marriage needs some TLC. The new Moon 18th February in Aquarius is then a fresh start, a new cycle in
terms of new learning, travelling and for some, your marriage but again,
connected to you finances.
Geminis finish the month with a
stellium of planets at the top of your chart, shaking up matters of career and
life direction on the one hand, your home life on the other. It’s discussions,
thoughts and outside influences that are making their presence felt now as a
hint of what’s to come in March around eclipse time. Have a great month, Gemini!
