Pisces, the month begins with
the full Moon in Cancer on 3rd February which falls into the area of your chart to do with children,
creativity and self-expression. Together with your ruler Jupiter in the same
area in your chart, it could be time to make an announcement of some sort,
bring something to light and ‘launch’ something into the public eye – to a
large audience or simply announcing something to your friends - so to speak.
For some of you, it could mean finalising contracts and negotiations, and again
making those public and telling those around you what it’s all about. Whatever
happened in August 2013 around children and (pro-) creativity is moving to the
next level. What was an idea is shaping up now and what was once an aim, could
be right here in front of you now. If you are single, then this is a very
romantic time, not so much lighthearted (Pisceans want to be in a relationship
now, or someone desperately wants to be in a relationship with you) than fated
and deliberately sought out. Again, that could be fun of course.
This full Moon is in the
nakshatra of Aslesha, ruled by Mercury. During this time, you are thinking
about your feelings and it is the nakshatra of the ‘Entwiner’. You may get
tangled up and entwined in your own and other people’s emotional dramas but you
may also just ‘get involved’ with other people. Being ‘entwined’ is fine in certain
circumstances, for example, when the child needs a close emotional bond but
when the child becomes an adult, the mother needs to start letting go an
‘untangle’. So during this time, you may be reluctant to let go as your
emotions take precedence over much of the other things in your life and the
area ruled by the Moon, especially with Jupiter nearby, becomes of great
importance – in your case, it has to do with romance, children and creating
something that is of value to you and with which you can strongly identify.
What increases your chances for
romance even more is that both Venus and Mars travel hand in hand through
Aquarius and then later on through Pisces from mid-month. While in Aquarius,
the pair joins up with Neptune, putting you into a very intuitive, creative and
‘inspired’ mood. This is a time when some of you have real creative and
futuristic inspirations and ideas that could either lead to some additional
income, the desire to travel abroad, join a mediation course or a programme on
spirituality. Spirituality, inspiration, broadening your understanding of the
world and being around people from afar can be some of the typical Piscean
character traits but at the moment, your interest in these subjects is
something greater than usual, leading to new attitudes and ideas about the
world, yourself and your relationships.
As the month goes on, Venus and
Mars move into your sign and it’s a similar situation. Whereas before, the two
were conjunct Neptune, the planet of glamour and illusion, now, they are in
Pisces, the sign of glamour and illusion but conjunct Uranus. So really, this
kind of means that whereas before, you had a slight inkling, a vague idea and nascent
emotions about something, now it hits you right in the face, it’s put at your
feet, it knocks at your door – quite suddenly and without warning. To make it
more precise, the keywords, issues or opportunities, you’ll be faced with
pretty much all month are: romance and beauty, money and spending (too much)
money, other people’s resources and how you deal with them and what you are
willing to share, your in-laws as well as your appearance in general. This is a
lovely time and, if you are single (and even if not!), it’s great for romance
and enjoying life a bit more – but there is an unusual, sudden if not erratic
edge to what’s happening in your life at the moment and perhaps not unwanted,
it can take some of you by surprise.
The new Moon on 18th February in Aquarius is another planetary configuration
that is conjunct Neptune. It seems as though a lot of what’s happening this
month feels like it is touched by magic, sudden fireworks and intuitive
decision-making. For you, this is the new Moon before yours, it’s a time to
withdraw and prepare for what’s to come, it’s a time to de-stress and kick
back, if you can. Although your emotions (or hormones?) are all over the place
for the most part of the month, at least you’ll feel things shifting. It’s a
new start to do with romance and children but not before you do some letting
go, releasing some old stress and tension as well as long-held illusions or
facades. Have a great month, Pisces!
