Libra, Saturn’s sojourn in your sign may not be over just yet but you will by now for sure see the benefits of the strict regime imposed on you has had up to now. What made it that little bit more difficult is the North node / Rahu’s transit through your sign at the same time activating a push and pull energy that was challenging to say the least. This will still go on for some time but you are slowing, slowly starting to reap all the benefits that come from you having gained in maturity, responsibility and a good deal of wisdom. Often, you felt like your ability to move (for some even physically!) was reduced, you may have felt a lack of vitality and were more aware than at other times that we all grow older with every minute that passes. But remember, this is a process that leads to a new 29 year life cycle – in fact, you’re already in your new cycle. This month, Mars moves into your sign for a few weeks giving you some extra energy, perhaps also aggression but drive to moves things along – or at least the desire to do so which is always a good start. 

Looking at your chart, it seems as though your main focus is on your relationships, the future of your relationships as well as your financial situation – perhaps to do with your partnerships. You’re entering a phase where you are keen to come to an agreement with your partner, you may even talk about marriage and children – you are definitely keen to cross the Ts and dot the Is quite soon. You’ll want to be in a relationship now and are keen to make it work, almost regardless of what the circumstances are. There is a strong drive to making the relationship official.

The same goes for business partnerships and to an extent work contracts. Agreement and discussions have to be had, hopefully before the end of February and before Mars moves backwards and into an area of your chart that’s less than clear and a lot less helpful for materialistic and physical outcomes. But for now, the focus is on you, your skills at work, with those around you, bring people together and connecting with others and others with each other. This has also financial ramifications and while you may be sorting out finances, together with a partner, some of the discussions, thoughts and ideas around the topic may of course also be for your own benefit and serve your own future plans only.

Some Libras also have more physical energy, so this is a good time to exercise – although overall, your energy seems to be more directed at sorting out the state of your relationships as well as your finances.

The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14^th falls into your house of friends and networks, groups and other, also financial, gains. This is a great day and time for those who are single. For some Libras, this can be quite a romantic mid-month and one where you socialise more, are keen to meet new people and happy to engage with those that cross your path. Coupled with the fact that you seem to open up a little to the idea of a relationship, the opportunities to meet someone seem to be there.

Now, Mercury is retrograde from 7^th to 28^th February and while I don’t think this will cause you any major issues, be clear in your communication in particular at home and around your family. If your living situation is tied into discussions with a partner and around your finances, the end of February and March onwards prove more fruitful.

February 2014 horoscope - Scorpio

Scorpio, we were all part of the madness that took place in January and for you the tension and pressure mainly affected your finances, possessions, values and other profits, opportunities for gains as well as family members and some arguments within the family setting. Not an easy time and in February, those Scorpios born around 16^th to 21^st November will begin to feel Saturn’s approaching influence on your sign. Saturn, the great taskmaster, is currently helping you to remove all unnecessary appendages, assumptions, adhesions and patterns of wishful thinking. Later on in the year, Saturn will enter your sign – you can already feel it coming now when you listen to your instincts and your gut or during some of those sleepless nights that you may be experiencing at the moment. The key to this transit at the moment is to let go of negative expectations – it’s usually what they are…expectations. You’ve completed a lot of internal work over the past two years already and this month and in March, the trend continues. Think of it as a cleansing experience to get ready to have your life moving into a brand new direction over the coming three years. For those with their Moon in Scorpio, this can be a more emotionally challenging but also cleansing time.

But in any case, you are a little more withdrawn at the moment, caught up in your thoughts. For some Scorpios, this is a time of retreat which can also include being in a different place or different country for a little while – a place where people can’t reach you as habitually as they usually can. February 2014 horoscope - Sagittarius

Sagittarius, perhaps more than anyone – or at least similar to your fellow mutual signs, Gemini, Pisces and Virgo – you’re glad to see the back of January 2014. The Grand Cross aspect which is formed of four squares and two oppositions hit your sign, your area of relationships, work and career direction, your sense of security and your home environment. So pretty fundamental areas in life saw some minor or larger changes, some of them quite sudden, some which have been a long(er) time coming. In any case, the challenges presented to you would have been of the fairly dramatic kind and perhaps even life-changing kind. February 2014 somewhat lets up on this pressure, the month allows for some breathing space and time to put new structures in place.

For some a personal or physical transformation, including perhaps a winter flue, was part of what you’re having to go through while some are still going through the tail end of trying to resolve a conflict situation with another or several others. In February, relationships and their smaller and larger issues are still on your mind and need to be dealt with. However, what’s really occupying your mind and perhaps draining your resources are financial and family matters. Capricorn, this is a busy month for you with a lot going on around career, profession and life direction, the impact you have on other people and the impression that you give and how you react to others as well as your values and possessions. So, an active month with a bit more forward movement towards the end of the month than January had to offer. One of the reasons is that Mars, the planet of action moves into your solar 10^th house and highlights career matters. The work place has been a tough playing field for you over these past years and continues to do so and as a results (or vice versa!), decisions that have an impact on the direction your life will take were either difficult to make or were imposed on you by external event or by others’ actions and expectations. For now though, if only for a short period, Mars ‘energises’ the top of your chart making you eager to press forward, succeed and achieve not just at work but any area in life really that requires some ‘work’. Aquarius, a lot is happening in everyone’s chart this month, the planets are spread across the zodiac but nevertheless, there are a few key areas for all of us to focus on. For you, the energy is directed into some traveling either for work or education or you are developing new skills in some way. Many Aquarians have undergone a transformation in the way they think over the past years; what you believe in has changed and the way you look at the world has been transformed. Many of you may have come across a person that appeared mentor-like to you and from whom you’ve learned a thing or two. Often, the same happens when you go to places you’ve not been before, chat to people who have a different point of view. You may have personally had a strong interest in further education and whatever you’ve learned may have renewed your faith in the world and your sense of optimism in the future. February 2014 horoscope - Pisces

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the February 2014 horoscope for birthdays from 15^th March to 13^th April or Pisces Ascendants and Moons

Pisces, at least the majority of the month will be less tense than what most of us experienced in January. The Grand Cross put huge pressure on the mutual signs (Pisces, Gemini, Sagittarius and Virgo) last month and although this is a continual pattern throughout the first half of the year, February looks a little easier to deal with. One of the reasons is that Mars slips into Libra until the end of March and breaks away from the ongoing aspect pattern that also involves the heavyweights Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter which has affected your relationships amongst other things. While Mars is in Libra, a lot of your energy goes into things such as asset management, family money, bank loans, insurance matters and savings plans. This is not something Pisceans like to occupy their minds with too much but over the past 2.5 years you will have had to come to terms with this part of life, take some responsibility when it comes to your financial situation or that of others – perhaps you are now the one in your family sorting out all money matters to help your parents. This is also a time of healing for many Pisceans, especially with the area in your chart to do with letting go and wrapping up packed with planets later on in the month.
