February 2014 horoscope - Aquarius

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the February 2014 astrology forecast for birthdays from 13^th February to 14^th March or Aquarius Ascendants and Moons

Aquarius, a lot is happening in everyone’s chart this month, the planets are spread across the zodiac but nevertheless, there are a few key areas for all of us to focus on. For you, the energy is directed into some traveling either for work or education or you are developing new skills in some way. Many Aquarians have undergone a transformation in the way they think over the past years; what you believe in has changed and the way you look at the world has been transformed. Many of you may have come across a person that appeared mentor-like to you and from whom you’ve learned a thing or two. Often, the same happens when you go to places you’ve not been before, chat to people who have a different point of view. You may have personally had a strong interest in further education and whatever you’ve learned may have renewed your faith in the world and your sense of optimism in the future. With Mars, the planet of forward movement entering this area of your chart for the whole month, a lot of your energy is directed towards academic pursuits, perhaps you are finishing a dissertation. Equally, you may write up your own business plan for your own venture and if you are already further down the line than that, you may be thinking about how to best promote your ideas and services. You’re now convinced that you are doing the right thing which is one of the foundations of success.

You’ve also got Mercury in your own sign this month and although retrograde from 7^th to 28^th February, this should give you some additional inspiration, ‘talkability’ and gift of the gab when it comes to selling your creative ideas. Just don’t be too rigid in your approach and don’t get caught up in the detail or by putting unnecessary – mental - obstacles in your way. If obstacles are real, then, this is a good time to review, re-thing and redo certain processes, strategies and methods – for some this can also apply to how you deal with your children or those you teach.

During this time, you may also be thinking about the cycles of life more than at other times, the mysticism and essentially the meaning of life.

The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14^th takes your mind of these heavy subjects and falls into the area of your chart to do with your committed relationships. Your partnerships now need to be looked at and if there has been any recent confusion or misunderstandings about money, children and personal space, this is the time to talk about it. You have a good chance of sorting out any problems you may have had – think about what was going on in May last year. Now you’re ready to finalise agreements, contract and make a commitment. The same goes for business partnerships. If you are single, then this full Moon is a supportive one for entering a new relationship. Jupiter, the planet that expands and supports is in a good angle, making sure you’re at the right place at the right time.

This full Moon is ruled by the Nakshatra of Magha and is ruled by Ketu. Magha nakshatra represents the royal palace, the royal throne, a king and a leader. Magha naksahtra feels naturally entitled to being the one who reigns. You have a natural way of winning people's hearts. However, this nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the point in the chart where we have to let go or where there is naturally less focus. For you, I have a feeling a lot of this has to do with letting go of old arguments and destructive habits….
