Gemini, your ruler, Mercury,
is going retrograde
from 7th to 28th February which
means that you’re rethinking certain situations, you may have to re-do projects
you’ve begun, essays you started writing, websites you wanted to launch or
you’ll simply change your mind about something. What you believe in could also
come under review as your mind is going back and forth a number of times until
you are able to make up your mind. You are naturally creative so you can also
use this time period quite constructively and who knows, you might come up with
a brilliant new idea or thought that in the near future can provide a new
source of income to you. Equally, your wisdom and life experience may also be
called for by other people – you have the sensitivity now to help others helps
themselves. Equally, some Geminis are also keen to pack their suitcases and get
away for a while. If so, then these plans are well starred. Anything that
provides you with a new experience and a new way of looking at things is
welcome now and while travelling provides the perfect opportunity for that, so
does education and learning something new.
The last few weeks or months were quite intense and a
lot has happened, especially for your sign, so now you can have a bit of a
breather before things start moving again in March.
What takes off the edge this month is the fact that
Mars, the planet of action but also war, is moving into a less tense position
in your chart and one that has to do with fun, romance and hobbies. For a few
weeks, this can give you the drive to form important and advantageous business relationships, friendships
and get involved with like-minded people in, for example, a sports setting or
for fundraising activities. If you are single, then this can also give you the
drive or the desire to go out and mingle and put yourself in the right place to
meet someone new. Relationships are serious business these days, for some it
may even be quite an intense experience, so the chances of you meeting someone
are there. Also remember that Jupiter is still in your sign so you certainly
also have plenty of opportunity to ‘practice’ – you may still change your mind
again over the next two months but that’s your prerogative.
The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14th falls in the area of your chart to do with
thinking, short-term planning, meetings, sales, deals, skills training and learning
something new, so combines and complements what going on at the opposite end of
your chart around education and travelling. So, the
last two weeks have found you somewhat restless and now, you’re busy! Errands need to be run, you need to
do sort out paperwork,
organise, email and make call after call to sort out your affairs. This is
a continuation of what started in May last year, so have a think about what you
had to sort out or deal with then. It could be that your finances go involved –
you may have to take your financial situation into consideration when making
your plans now.
This full Moon is ruled by the Nakshatra of Magha and
is ruled by Ketu. Magha nakshatra represents the royal palace, the royal
throne, a king and a leader. Magha naksahtra feels naturally entitled to being
the one who reigns. However, this nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the point in the
chart where we have to let go or where there is naturally less focus. For you, there may be a need to distance yourself from one
particular idea or thought before you can move on or a situation resolves
itself.
Have a great month, Gemini!
Annual and
monthly horoscopes are very general so get in touch if you are interested in an individual
chart reading. In readings, I use the Indian Dasha system in individual
forecasts which is known for its accuracy. You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Google +, see you
