February 2014 horoscope - Aries

Aries, if the recent weeks have put a damper on your relationships, you’ll have a chance to make up for that this month. Mars, your ruler, is in the area of your chart to do with relationships, making you more amenable to making up. For the past two years or so your future dreams and hopes where tied into relationships and partnerships with others which ultimately have proven more challenging than expected or anticipated. Equally, the current transits may have had an impact on your work which has also become more challenging and potentially with more responsibilities on your shoulders. At the same time, you may have found it harder to receive the recognition you’ve been working towards. To sum it up, you may have felt blocked as if someone has put the brakes on without you necessarily wanting it that way.

This month, the recent arguments and situations of conflict ease a little, if not for long, and you’ll be able to come to an agreement, close the deal, finalise the merger and start looking at the future again. If you are single, this is a good time to meet someone new and make a commitment to that person or renew your commitment to a new attitude in relationships. You’ve learnt a lot in that regards, now apply it. This month, you’ll be able to see the bigger picture much better than last month with a more optimistic attitude and with more generosity. Now, if you are single, for most of the month you could meet someone while travelling or in an educational setting. A romance that starts now is likely to be with someone with a similar mentality and someone who is a friend and morally supportive of your endeavours.

Having said all that and despite a lot of emphasis on your relationship sector and you being keen to make the best of it, part of you is also prone to over-react and to outbursts of anger. This goes for those born in the early days of the sign, from 14^th to 19^th April or with their Ascendant and Moon signs at 0-5 degrees of Aries. You’ll want to have all your ducks in a row now but Saturn in opposition still thwarts your ambitions somewhat. You’ve not quite finished a particular learning process so be patient.

Then, Mercury, is retrograde from 7^th to 28^th February and for you this means that communication with friends, acquaintances and with groups can be a bit confusing. You may also not be as clear about your wishes and hopes for the future at this time. Perhaps there is a bit of confusion around what your future should look like and with whom. But you’ll have plenty of opportunity to plan at this stage and once May arrives things can move forward again. For the time being, be clear about what you communicate and to whom. Equally, you may not be able to believe everything you hear from others and if you are involved in some kind of social, group or fundraising activities some kind of conflict is up to you to manage now.

The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14^th falls into your house of fun and romance and what better place for it to be. You want to have fun now and you’re in the mood for romance which at this time, perhaps gives you a sense of security. With Mercury in opposition, makes sure it’s not all about you and with Neptune, the planet of illusion in the mix, it’s easier to see what you want to see rather than what reality looks like or what might be around the inevitable corner.
