February 2014 horoscope - Capricorn

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the Capricorn February 2014 horoscope for birthdays from 15^th January to 12^th February or Capricorn Ascendants and Moons

Capricorn, this is a busy month for you with a lot going on around career, profession and life direction, the impact you have on other people and the impression that you give and how you react to others as well as your values and possessions. So, an active month with a bit more forward movement towards the end of the month than January had to offer. One of the reasons is that Mars, the planet of action moves into your solar 10^th house and highlights career matters. The work place has been a tough playing field for you over these past years and continues to do so and as a results (or vice versa!), decisions that have an impact on the direction your life will take were either difficult to make or were imposed on you by external event or by others’ actions and expectations. For now though, if only for a short period, Mars ‘energises’ the top of your chart making you eager to press forward, succeed and achieve not just at work but any area in life really that requires some ‘work’. You may have more responsibilities now and the work load is greater but this is because you are keen to see things move forward. You will be able to achieve your goals and what you set your mind to although not in the pace Mars would like you to. Even though you are quite competitive, there may still be the odd obstacle in your way that needs to be removed or shifted with patience and determination.

Naturally, as you think about what’s next in life or the direction your career is taking or should take, finances come into play. Mercury is retrograde from 7^th to 28^th February in the area on your chart to do with your income so your outgoings may be higher than usual and, again, you may have to face some obstacles in getting your finances sorted, receiving money that is owed to you, being paid by clients or receiving funds from other sources. Although there are some delays indicated, this is nevertheless a time when money can come to you – albeit a little slower than hoped for.

The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14^th falls into your house of other people’s money and in your case, it is also connected to your partner’s resources or anyone you have an agreement with. The full sheds light on a financial situation that you’ve been waiting to get solved for around six to nine months. Also think about what began in August 2012 – did you apply for a loan, take one out, did you need to look after someone else’s financial situation? The one thing you need to be aware of is that miscommunication can be part of the picture now.

For some Capricorns, questions about what’s mine and what is yours, what do I value and what does the other person value as well as how much intimacy is needed wanted and desired come to the fore and are being dealt with.

This full Moon is ruled by the Nakshatra of Magha and is ruled by Ketu. Magha nakshatra represents the royal palace, the royal throne, a king and a leader. Magha naksahtra feels naturally entitled to being the one who reigns. You have a natural way of winning people's hearts. However, this nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the point in the chart where we have to let go or where there is naturally less focus. For you, this means you may let go of old fears and worries that are also connected to the area in your chart to with other people’s money and resources.

Things lighten up a little towards the end of the month and some Capricorns could be in the mood for romance and some light-hearted fun as Venus moves into your sign and Mercury, also in your sign, goes direct again. Many Capricorns are feeling a lot more attractive and the flow of communication is a lot easier while, at the same time, the month also ends with a lot more clarity around your finances and/income.
