December 2012 horoscope - Capricorn

December will feel very different to the previous month which saw two very powerful eclipses across your 10th and 4th house axis. The solar eclipse touched your profession, career, vocation and life direction, levels of authority, status and the father or generally, your parents. There may have been a sudden promotion for some Capricorns or change in your career path and status. The lunar eclipse at the end of November then put the spotlight onto your 11th and 5th houses of fun and socialising and this is the energy that you bring with you into December. Lunar eclipses are more emotional and as we enter December, we are still under the spell of this full Moon and you, Capricorn, may start off the party season spoilt for choice.

Prepare to be in demand as we enter December – your 11th house of gains, networks, friends, socialising and your hopes and wishes is jam-packed. In the past weeks since Jupiter has been in retrograde motion, you may have felt slightly neglected in the fun department. You may have felt that a new chapter began in the summer but with Jupiter in retrograde motion, things may have slowed down a little. In Indian astrology, Jupiter in retrograde motion is considered even stronger and some pressing issues that now need reviewing could have bubbled up to the surface. However, the focus on your social circle this month should help alleviate the lack of progress you may have felt when it comes to romance, children – maybe you’ve trying – and creativity. Remember, that this is only a temporary situation that may perhaps also feel like to you don’t have time to have enough fun. Maybe you also simply don’t feel like having fun much but this is not a permanent state of affairs. Things in the fun department and when it comes to romance, in fact, finding your true love, are looking up again in January.

The new Moon on 13th in your house of hope, dreams and your social circle spells new beginnings in this area while it also shines its light onto the 5th house. Although this means a new start it’s one that is not quite obvious to you yet. However, wait until the full Moon towards the end of May 2013 where your creative projects and / or issues and plans around children should come to a head. I’d expect to see another piece in the puzzle to be available to you around 12th September 2013.

In Indian astrology, this December 2012 new Moon falls in the nakshatra (the chart is divided into 27 sections or nakshatras) of Jyestha. This nakshatra is said to be an independent one and where we have to do things by ourselves. In this nakshatra, we can’t rely on others but have to take the position of leader. This position also tells me that although you may do better now to go it alone – or maybe just follow your own interests for the time being – don’t be stubborn and aggressive with it. Scorpio is a slightly aggressive but very secretive sign so make sure you don’t completely turn your back on other people at this time. Keep the channels open.

Mars is in your hidden 12th house for most of the month. So, if you do start off feeling you want to work behind the scenes rather than pour your energies into new ventures, you’ll be glad to hear that after Neptune went direct in November, Uranus is also back in forward motion and so is Mercury, the planet of communication. This is now a good time for small breaks away, creative projects and new experiences that may help you keep your mind clear. Maybe there is a focus on writing – it often helps to stay focused and with so much emphasis on your hope and dreams, why not draft a vision board to help you get clear about who and what stays or needs to enter your life in 2013. Mars then moves into your solar 1st house giving you the extra boost to achieve your goals from 19th December. This is another step-change for you and but in a building square to Saturn, keep your aggression under control, if you’re feeling a little frustrated.

So, although you may still carry the hangover from November on your shoulders, and the gears are grinding slowly at the beginning of the month, things should start picking up significantly and possibilities should open up for you. I see this being connected to your profession and life direction which will be a big focus for you over the coming 2 years anyway. Suddenly, the pace quickens which can be refreshing but, at the same time, maybe a little unnerving. You can expect a lot or progress in this area as you are at an all-time career and reputational high. If you have been working towards a career goal, this is now building and building and shaping up nicely for you. Don’t expect everything to go your way immediately over these coming two years, there will be some weeding to do…but the garden will be all the more beautiful afterwards!

Once Jupiter moves forward again in January, things will change very quickly in the New Year – so any frustrations you may be feeling for the time being should evaporate as you move forward with the speed of light and real progress can be expected.
