March 2013 horoscope - Capricorn

Capricorn, for you, March 2013 is most likely be the biggest month to sort out your finances.  Maybe you’re still under the influence of the full Moon at the end of February that saw a situation around your earned income or your partner’s resources, bank loans, tax or insurance come to a conclusion. Now you know what the figures are and what you have to work with and maybe more than ever, you want to make a decision on how to move forward. The current transits could have also seen you apply for another job or rethink where you want to get to over the past months. This may also involve a complete reversal of strategy and for some, it might be back to the drawing board when it comes to career plans and vocation.

The only slightly niggly issue is that your ruler Saturn is now retrograde and what you thought is the best way forward, may require some re-doing, re-consideration and re-thinking. Whatever is going on around your finances may affect your decisions around career and may have to do with the delays you are experiencing around changes and progress in this area - or vice versa! Use the time until early July to go over what you’ve realised, experienced over the past months and appreciate where you’ve grown and matured since August last year.

If you have been experiencing some delay in money coming through or new contracts being signed, the time around the new Moon on 11^th March should help things along somewhat. It’s a new beginning in the area of your income and conjunct Venus, the ruler of your house of career and life direction. Don’t expect things to change dramatically straight away, new Moons are new beginning but ones we can’t see immediately. I’d imagine that after the 18^th March, once Mercury is coming out of its retrograde phase, communication and negotiation will be much clearer and more direct again which also help you and others to address whatever has experienced delays.

Before mid-month, Mercury is retrograde and conjunct Neptune and Mars is in Pisces where he doesn’t feel that comfortable and is in your 3^rd house of communication. This is kind of a triple-whammy which means that you should think (very clearly) before you act... if you can J!

The energy then shifts after mid-months as the cluster of planets moves from your 2^nd to your 3^rd solar house. The focus for you is now on communication, neighbours, short-distance travels and siblings. In Pisces, these transits makes you more intuitive, creative, romantic and empathetic in the way you think and communicate. But again, Pisces is a dreamy sign that prefers to keep the rose-coloured glasses on, so while agreements and contracts may be progressing nicely now, make sure you re-read the small print.

The full Moon in Virgo in the nakshatra of Hasta, symbolised by the raised hand or the fist which means strength, togetherness and power in its general attributes is on 27^th March. Meanwhile, the Sun conjuncts Uranus, Mars and Venus, all of which square up to Pluto. Although squares are productive in the sense that they inject the energy and the focus we need to get things going, they are not very comfortable aspects and we often have to put a lot of effort into solving issues and removing obstacles in the areas touched by the squares. Think about what began in late September 2011 with another milestone at the end of June 2012. For you, Capricorn, this has to do with long-distance travel, higher education, teaching, mentoring and quite generally speaking, broadening your horizons. For you, this could also be someone from abroad you are already in a relationship with and which could be a bit challenging or someone from abroad who may feature strongly around this full Moon as a mentor or someone who offers you advice.

The month then ends with another Yod configuration, or Finger of God, with the Moon, Saturn and Rahu as the focal points in your 10^th house. The focal point is also the pressure point in this constellation. Again, on the one hand, the month ends with a focus on your career as well as your love relationships. It may be that you feel some restrictions and limited circumstances in these areas for a couple of days. There are some unusual constellations in the Sky at the moment and a lot of planets are in a bit of an awkward position – not directly in conflict but also not very, very supportive and a bit irritating so don’t let so don’t let a bit of pressure get to you in those last days in March.
