Libra, for most of the month, you are still very much aware of your
relationships. Whether you are single or not, relationships and their
challenges, the desire to be in a relationship or the realisation that
actually, you don't, are the key topics for you for most of the month. You
recognise how much work goes into a partnership and you are keen to come to
mutually beneficial agreements and an understanding of what makes both of you
happy. This goes for everyone you meet, not just a romantic partner or a business
relationship but also for others you have one-on-one interactions with. Some
Libras also want to make their relationships official now and if not in march,
then April and May could be times for engagements and the next level of
commitment. Relationships can also provide a special sense of security to you
now, in particular as Venus, your ruler is in the sign of Capricorn, the sign
of longevity and slow but steady progress. For you this means that if you are
in a relationship, your living situation might be part of ongoing discussions.
It's a busy time around the house and home, so with so much focus on
relationships, this can be an obvious choice to make. For others, relationships
in the sense of drafting and coming to mutually beneficial agreements can also
mean setting up a business with someone else. Naturally, joint finances come
into play in both cases and some Libras are in the process of applying for
loans such as a mortgage and are dealing with money behind the scenes. Others
are having to sort out family money, most likely connected to property matters.
In any case, you sense of security and belonging is at stake or at least is
being 'worked on' in some way.
But generally speaking, from an astrological perspective, March is
an exciting month with Jupiter, the planet of luck and abundance moving forward
on 7th March, Saturn and Mars going retrograde for quite some time and two new
Moons in the same month. The first of the two takes place on 1st March in
Aquarius and in the area of your chart to do with romance, creativity, fun and
children. It's also a part of our lives where we take more risks, financially
and more generally with the opportunities life throws at us. For you, this is a
very creative placement. The new Moon is conjunct Neptune, the planet of glitz
and glamour, and in the 5th house f performance can put you in the limelight. A
lot of this has to do with career, profits and bonuses - hopefully a good omen
for your bank balance. If you are the creative type, especially when it comes
to writing and publishing, this can be a very good time to launch a website,
blog or submit your autobiography to an editor of your choice. Once this new
Moon has passed, Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion, moves forward again
in the area of your chart to do with writing, publishing and academic research,
so a good time to complete and continue projects you've been working on over
the past year or so.
After the new Moon at the beginning of the month, Mars, the planet
of action but also war, goes retrograde on 2nd March until 20th May and enters
your house of behind the scenes and self-undoing. This means that where you
have wanted to press ahead with relationships, agreements and contracts, you
may have to take a step back and look at the finer detail of your partnerships,
deciding if you are able and willing to solve any ongoing conflict, pressure
and disagreements in his area in your life. There is also an element of secrecy
prevalent either from your side or your partner's. You will have learnt over
the past years that honesty and openness is the best way forward so try and
keep it that way. It can also just mean that there is a distance between you
and your partner, either an emotional disconnect or one of you is physically
less present for the time being.
The full Moon on 16th March is then a time when you will have to
rest a bit more. work pressure are getting to you and it's time to live and let
live. This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Hasta and is ruled by the Moon.
According to ancient astrology, this nakshatra has the power to manifest what
one seeks and is a placement of healing through the hands but also through the
mind, i.e. our intellect. As this nakashatra is ruled by the Moon, we’re also
trying to protect what we have and those we love avoiding any unnecessary
disruption and risk at all cost. During these times, there may also be a
tendency to parent our partners which now comes from a need to comfort and
protect those around us. But I think for you, this is a time of withdrawal rather
than over protection of your mate although you may be quite protective of
certain people at work or certain work projects that you've been working on for
a long time.
The new Moon on 31st March is in Pisces is conjunct Uranus, the
planet of sudden and erratic change and behaviour forming a square with Pluto
and opposing Mars – two weeks after the full Moon in your house of mediation
and behind the scenes activities, this one affects your health and wellbeing,
something that some Libras may have had their ups and downs with recently. So
for you, an opportunity to get a clearer idea of how to work on health matters
and perhaps a new realisation or insight into what you have to do to get better
can arise. Alternatively a new beginning in your place of work is on the cards,
new colleagues, new surroundings or at least the opportunity to make a move is
there...Have a great month, Libra!
