I follow the
sidereal calendar; this is the March 2014 horoscope for birthdays from 15th March to 13th April or
Pisces Ascendants and Moons
Happy birthday
Pisces. From an astrological perspective, March is an exciting month with
Jupiter, your ruler and the planet of luck and expansion moving forward on 7th March, Saturn
and Mars going retrograde for a number of months and two new Moons in one
month. The first of the two takes place on 1st March in
Aquarius and in the area of your chart to do with foreign places, meditation
and withdrawal. Many Pisceans may have had a busy or hectic or perhaps a little
bit of a crazy time recently and many of you now feel as though a little rest
and a little downtime is on order. This new Moon happens in the sign before
yours so it’s a time of letting go of the past – this is individual in each
case and in yours, it’s a time of healing and so certainly a need for stress
reduction.
Once this new
Moon has passed and you’re on your way into your new solar year, your ruler,
Jupiter moves forward again in the area of your chart to do with home and your
living environment. Now, many of you have been thinking about working from home
or ‘doing some work on the house’ while other may have thought about teaching.
A career change is likely to have been on the cards over the past year and if
you’ve not yet made the move, then March onwards can bring you the right
opportunities. Some of this may have to do with a more positive outlook and a
renewed sense of self and self-confidence. Not that this has been lacking but
it may come a little bit easier to you these days. For some Pisceans, property
ownership may feature strongly in your life plans now and you may feel most
natural and comfortable when you are at home or being around your family.
I’ve talked
about your finances for some time now and you know you had to tighten the purse
over these past two years or bank loans seemed to be more elusive and while
this is still ongoing for some time, your relationships become a more pressing
matter over the next weeks and months. First through the full Moon on 16th March in
Virgo, your opposite sign. The state or status of your relationships comes into
focus whether you are single or coupled up. Your individuality versus
commitment to a partnership are the questions on your mind and single Pisceans
may even decide that for the time being, you’re quite happy to do your own
thing. Other may quite suddenly decide that life on your own is not what you
want anymore.
This full Moon
is in the nakshatra of Hasta and is ruled by the Moon. According to ancient
astrology, this nakshatra has the power to manifest what one seeks and is a
placement of healing through the hands but also through the mind, i.e. our
intellect. As this nakashatra is ruled by the Moon, we’re also trying to
protect what we have and those we love avoiding any unnecessary disruption and
risk at all cost. During these times, there may also be a tendency to parent
our partners which now comes from a need to comfort and protect those around
us. For you, this can really apply to your relationship now and either you or
your partner are emotionally a little more needy during this time.
Secondly,
Mars, the planet of action but also war, goes retrograde on 2nd March until
20th May and enters your house of committed relationships. Not only
does this add to the energy you put into relationships now, it also contributes
to a more argumentative atmosphere – perhaps due to your or your partners
changing needs at time or and quite likely so, it could be down to shared (or not
so shared) values and financial security. With Saturn going retrograde on 3rd March until
20th July 2014, your partner’s financial contribution and ability to
support you may initially look like a stumbling block. However, there may just
be a few more details to be clarified and old issues to be sorted once and for
all. You’ll need to be on your toes at the end of February if you want the
outcome to be productive. Although the new Moon on 31st March is in
your own sign, it is conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden and erratic change
and behaviour forming a square with Pluto and opposing Mars – a lot can come to
the surface now and very suddenly, especially if you react before you think.
Have a peaceful month, Pisces!
