Capricorn, for many months, you’ve probably been waiting
for this moment. Saturn, your ruler is going direct again on 21st July in the area of your chart
to do with your reputation, your position in polite society and of course your
career. It’s also the area of your chart to do with your vocation and over the
past two years, you have had to think hard about where your career is going,
should be going or whether your career is in fact what you have come here to
do. Many obstacles have been overcome and dealt with and now, you may feel somewhat
spent. Not to worry though, as Saturn is in his final stages, moving through the
sign of Libra, you will now see the results of all your hard labour. Your life
may have turned upside down, you may have also had to move house but things are
settling down now. More than ever, you are now the authority people are
listening to and whose lea they want to follow.
Now, I’ve already mentioned it in June when
Jupiter moved into the sign of Cancer and into the area to do with your committed
relationships. This may be the year when many Capricorns give up single life
and partner up with a special someone. In any case, Jupiter here opens up your
world and while he brings opportunity and benefits, relationship upheavals (in
the most positive sense) are likely. This should be a welcome change as for too
long, the status quo had dominated. But in July, the next big push is that Rahu
/ the North node and Ketu / the South node are changing signs. Rahu and Ketu
denote the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they
transit through the sky. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the
North and the South nodes of the Moon. The eclipses occur when the Sun and the
Moon are at one of these points. Wherever Rahu travels through denotes the area
in the chart where the most change, disruption but ultimately growth happens.
For the past 18 months, Rahu has shook up your professional life and pushed you
into new directions – perhaps with your full consent, potentially not. Now it’s
the time to learn something new, go back to school or university, travel the
world once you’ve decided that your career and job is not everything in life
and open yourself up to new people, experiences, life philosophies and a new understanding
of the world. Some of you may turn into mentors and teachers, passing their
inspirational ideas on to other people.
The full Moon on 12th July
together with Pluto is a bit of an intense one and can be a bit of an
aha-moment. Perhaps you realise where work and colleagues have been too demanding.
This is a time when it’s good to get away for a while and be alone with your
thoughts – getting ready for the full Moon in your own sign next month. Listen
to your intuition now, it can give you clues as to what’s net or which direction
to take. In any case, the full Moon brings things to a close - perhaps with a
bang and concludes what began in January 2013. This full Moon is in the
nakshatra of Purvashada and is ruled by Venus. The meaning of this nakshatra is
that of Early Victory and the invincible sea; wealth is said to be consistently
high and this is generally a generous and positive Moon and gives a natural
ability to organise and manage but with a tendency to jump to conclusions.
Nevertheless, one that has an element of optimism and a taste of the big wide
world – perhaps introducing someone special into your world who is so very
different to what you’ve known before.
Annual and monthly
horoscopes are very general so get in touch if you are interested in an individual chart reading. In readings, I use the Indian Dasha system in individual
forecasts which is known for its accuracy. You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter and Google +, see you
