July 2014 horoscope - Libra

Libra, it’s in your sign that most of the change in the sky happens this month! Mars, after a seven month stint in the sign before yours is finally moving into your sign, clearing up relationships matters, confusion around partnerships and misunderstandings in one-to-one situations. If you have been looking for a relationship, then this month is one when you can attract a partner to you. Saturn in you sign brought some valuable lessons around setting boundaries and now is the time to apply what you’ve learnt. Mars not only gives you the drive to get out there and meet someone, he also gives you the confidence to do so. The combination of Saturn and Mars, therefore, is not a bad one as it prevents you from diving head first into something you’ll later regret. This could be a really great month for relationships! For a long time, you’ve been lacking a bit of passion in your life – embrace is with open arms.

For others, who are happily coupled up – and indeed for those who are single – Mars’ transit in your sign can also mean money. Mars rules your money sector and in your sign can mean that you either spend more on your looks or you attract more $ into your life. Either way, Mars is your sign is a long overdue transit that gives you back some of the umph that Saturn has taken away over the past two years.

I’ve already mentioned it in June when Jupiter moved into the sign of Cancer and into the area to do with career and your profession. Opportunities and changes here are very likely and not only does Jupiter here benefit your career prospects, he also throws a glance onto your money house – hurray! Good stuff, especially as the new Moon on 27^th July opens up new career opportunities with a good chance of a ncie little pay increase. But really, the next big push this summer is that Rahu / the North node and Ketu / the South node are changing signs. Rahu and Ketu denote the points of intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they transit through the sky. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the North and the South nodes of the Moon. The eclipses occur when the Sun and the Moon are at one of these points. Wherever Rahu travels through denotes the area in the chart where the most change, disruption but ultimately growth happens. For the past 18 months, the focus was on you and who you are and boy, has it been a tough ride. Another reason for you to be joyous his month – Rahu moves on into the area of your chart to do with long-distance travels, meditation, withdrawal and the seaside. Your intuition will be at an all time high, so follow your dreams now, they carry important messages. Some Libras are now establishing important connections abroad or for those well travelled, there is a strong desire to move abroad for some time. Today’s working environments, ease of travel and modern technology makes it possible for us to move, connect and stay connected with only a minimal amount of effort – the world is your oyster :) !

For some Libras, this transit also has a lot to do with health, healing and wellbeing...watch out for the eclipses in September and October for that. 

The full Moon on 12^th July together with Pluto is a bit of an intense one and brings things to do with publishing, short-distance travels, writing, new learning, your own business, your own efforts and any project or idea that has to do with you using your hands to a close – perhaps with a bang and concludes what began in January 2013. Things could also just move to the next level, it doesn’t mean they end but a shift, a finalisation and a conclusion is there for you to take advantage.

This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Purvashada and is ruled by Venus. The meaning of this nakshatra is that of Early Victory and the invincible sea; wealth is said to be consistently high and this is generally a generous and positive Moon and gives a natural ability to organise and manage but with a tendency to jump to conclusions. Nevertheless, one that has an element of optimism and a taste of the big wide world. Again, connections to those at a distance seem possible and who knows, they could turn into a great new set of friends.
