September 2013 horoscope - Capricorn

Capricorn, for a long time now, you've been re-shaping and reorganising your career, filing on your life plans and thinking about how to bring more stability and clarity into your financial situation. All of this is still ongoing and there are no new challenges on the horizon in September 2013. What's keeping you buy instead are relationship commitments, both personal and professional, including matters of tax, insurance, inheritance, bank loans and generally, joint resources. You and your partner may be making plans to set up home together or, if you are single, you might meet someone from a similar cultural background and at the same time, quite well-connected. If you do meet someone new now or have done recently after a lot of focus went into this area in July and August, this person opens up a whole new social circle to you from which you can benefit in the long-term. You have Mars, the planet of action, in your opposite sign at the moment, so a lot of energy goes into relationships now but if you find yourself in heated debates with your partner make sure the temperature remains at a bearable level. 

Mercury, the planet of communications enters your house of travels , both physical and mental on 5^th September and on the same day, the new Moon in Leo takes place in your house of transformation, secrets and joint resources. Death and rebirth-type situations, taxes and deeper psychological developments are all associated with this house and new Moon. A new Moon represents a new beginning in this area, so you're definitely shedding some old skin - perhaps in relation to long-held beliefs and attitudes generally speaking and more specifically, in relationships. 

This new Moon falls into the nakshatra of Purvaphalguni, the 11^th of 27 'wives of the Moon' and one of three that is ruled by the planet Venus. This is a creative nakshatra which broadly speaking brings skills in arts and a love of pleasure. The deity for this star is Bhaga, the God of Prosperity. For you, Capricorn, this may mean there may be things you previously avoided looking at to do with partnerships or your partner's behaviour that you have no issue bringing up now. This can also mean that you temporarily have to deal with power struggles but ultimately, this transit is all about regeneration and the need for something to go away in order for a rebirth to occur. This all sounds quite deep and dark, however, with Mercury in your solar 9^th house, you'll develop the right philosophy to look at the bigger picture and appreciate the developments taking place this month. 

The full Moon on 19^th September is in the sign of Pisces and happens just across this area of your chart. It'll be quite a busy time with lots of communication, writing, connecting and creative thinking happening at this time. You may be working towards acquiring a new qualification, new skills and new experiences are highlighted - raise your voice, say it, write it, blog it, email it, tweet it, make it public will be the themes then. This is also a good time to apply for a new job or get your business plan ready to present it to potential business partners or investors. The month ends with a lot of focus on your house of career and life direction and from the end of September onwards, you'll be getting closer to achieving what you want to achieve after contemplating your next move around career and profession for quite some time. We'll all be moving towards the next set of eclipses across the Aries / Libra axis in October and November and the end of September introduces the next set of changes. These will be less upsetting than the April and May 2013 eclipses but will still provide the necessary impetus and impact.
