Cancer, the areas highlighted for you this month are your family and your home, your sense of security and your feelings. On top of that, some of you are dealing with those deeply buried emotions, matters of intimacy as well as family money and other resources.
Many Cancerians moved house over the past year or so
or some major changes took place at home. This does not only mean that you may
have refurbished your home but it can also mean that certain arrangements at
home and with certain people underwent some restructuring. Emotionally, this
may have taken its toll and it took a while to get used to your new state of
being and feeling, however, over the next months, your sense of security, who
you are and what your life is built on becomes more obvious and stronger. In
particular as Jupiter moves into your sign in the summer, giving you some extra
confidence, optimism and vitality. This month, as Mars, the warrior and planet of
action, moves into your area of home, security and your feelings for a number
of weeks, you may feel a bit defensive about your feelings and you may be a
little impatient and short with those you live with. Consequently, this can
have an impact on your relationships which for the time being may feel like a
little bit of hard work. But equally, this is a time where your closest
one-to-one relationships are ‘energised’ meaning that if you put in the effort,
you’ll be able to work through a number of issues. You want to feel at home
with your partner now – whether romantic or business-related – and this month,
you have the drive and energy to provide the right environment and circumstance
to do so. You may find that others, too, now come to you for advice and a good
old chat.
Now, some of you are also concerned about your
financial situation at the moment and with Mercury moving backwards from 7th to 28th February in the area of your chart to do with other people’s
money, loans, family assets and tax, you may want to be careful that you get
your facts straight and that you read the small print. Although your intuition
is high at this moment, so is the side of you which we all have that sometimes
gives in to wishful thinking. You’ll need to be a little careful of hearing
what you want to hear and presenting the facts as what you think they should
look like. You may also find that it’s more difficult to get simple and
straights facts from someone without feeling that you’re not getting the full
picture. The best way to handle any type of ‘misrepresentation’ is by listening
to your intuition and what you inner voice tells you. For that, you may need
some quiet moments to yourself.
If there were any other issues for you to consider in
the run up to the full Moon other than finances, then I think this Valentine’s Day full
Moon puts the spotlight firmly on your finances and quite possibly joint
finances with a business or romantic partner. Perhaps you have had to come to
an agreement on how to move forward and on your share of the deal and this is
the time when you are asked to do just that. Remember to check the facts, be
clear around your own objectives and what is realistic and what isn’t.
You’ll most likely come out of any discussions with
your partner better off in the sense that your relationship won’t be at risk -
the end of February and March is a time when you are likely to grow much closer
to your partner (again), so don’t be worried now that you’re having to tackle a
few things first. The same goes if you are single and looking, you’ll want to
feel at home with someone so why not put the feelers out…
