February 2014 horoscope - Leo

Leo, some of you may have been caught up in a whirlwind in January with some sudden or heavy expenses hitting your bank balance. The pressure is now easing a little and February is a busy month for you in terms of romance and relationships and any other kind of day to day project work that keeps you occupied. Perhaps you have something to announce, plan, communicate, write down or sort out your paperwork. If you have children, then their schedules are demanding this month and your organisational skills are required.

Now, romantic interests remain high on the agenda and if you are single and looking, then February does indeed offer opportunities to mingle, meet someone new. This may not necessarily be by being out and about but it could be someone in your immediate environment, your neighbourhood or by taking up a new hobby. Some of you may also go down a different route and try one of the many online dating websites that now come in all shapes and sizes. For the next few weeks, you’ve got the drive to connect with other people including a new potential mate.

For a lot of Leos relationships have been high on the agenda for some time and those that are in a partnership are keen to discuss the future now as well as finances matters. There may have already been some discussions and this month, you may find that there is a lot more fine-tuning to do than expected. Mercury, is retrograde from 7^th to 28^th February asking you to go over some old ground when it comes to your joint financial or even social goals. Some Leos may also have to provide some emotional and even physical support to their partners over this time period.

The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14^th falls into your own sign and is your annual full Moon where the spotlight is on you and it’s about finding a balance between autonomy and dependence. You are also very intuitive now and this is a time period when you sense any undercurrents that affect or have an impact on your relationship. If you are dealing with some heavy-going topics around your partnership, it may be a little draining on you, so make sure you can take some time out even though the demands from others on you and your time are high.

This full Moon is ruled by the Nakshatra of Magha and is ruled by Ketu. Magha nakshatra represents the royal palace, the royal throne, a king and a leader. Magha naksahtra feels naturally entitled to being the one who reigns. However, this nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the point in the chart where we have to let go or where there is naturally less focus. For you, again, this can be a time when the demands of others – at least temporarily – require you to put yourself second.

Leo, February is also a time for those that are looking to go on a short trip, perhaps a training course for work or for other educational purposes. Others who are undergoing some sort of education or training may be busy writing essays, dissertations, (hopefully passing) tests and exams. Good luck!
