Scorpio, we were all part of the madness that took place in January and for you the tension and pressure mainly affected your finances, possessions, values and other profits, opportunities for gains as well as family members and some arguments within the family setting. Not an easy time and in February, those Scorpios born around 16th to 21st November will begin to feel Saturn’s approaching influence on your sign. Saturn, the great taskmaster, is currently helping you to remove all unnecessary appendages, assumptions, adhesions and patterns of wishful thinking. Later on in the year, Saturn will enter your sign – you can already feel it coming now when you listen to your instincts and your gut or during some of those sleepless nights that you may be experiencing at the moment. The key to this transit at the moment is to let go of negative expectations – it’s usually what they are…expectations. You’ve completed a lot of internal work over the past two years already and this month and in March, the trend continues. Think of it as a cleansing experience to get ready to have your life moving into a brand new direction over the coming three years. For those with their Moon in Scorpio, this can be a more emotionally challenging but also cleansing time.
But in any case, you are a little more withdrawn at
the moment, caught up in your thoughts. For some Scorpios, this is a time of
retreat which can also include being in a different place or different country
for a little while – a place where people can’t reach you as habitually as they
usually can. Scorpios are private individuals anyway but this month and in
March, you’ll be busy preparing for what’s to come or for you have planned and
if that means keeping things a little closer to your chest, so be it. This is a
good time to research your plans and projects – avoid getting stressed about
not getting where you want to be in the time you thought you’d get there. If
you don’t take it easy you may end up feeling the pressure not just mentally
but also physically.
Venus in the area of your chart to do with finances
and your values together with Pluto is not a bad combination. It certainly is a
money spinning combination but also one where you think you may have more than
what is printed black on white on your bank statement. For some, this could of
course be a time of profits that have been on the back burner for some time and
which you have patiently been waiting for. If you are aiming for a house sale
or any other property-related business, Mercury in retrograde
from 7th to 28th February may put
a few spanner in the works until early March but nothing that can’t be sorted
out. With Neptune nearby it’s important though to get the facts straight.
The full Moon on Valentine’s Day on February 14th falls into your house of career and your
profession so this is a time when you may be aiming higher than usual in terms
of where you think your life should be going – and rightly so. You’re quite
idealistic at this time and for some Scorpios, any changes that come into
effect now have an impact on your internal life and even your home environment
that has been a little less than stable of the past years.
This full Moon is ruled by the Nakshatra of Magha and is ruled by Ketu. Magha nakshatra
represents the royal palace, the royal throne, a king and a leader. Magha naksahtra feels naturally entitled to being the one who reigns. However, this nakshatra is ruled by Ketu, the point in the chart where
we have to let go or where there
is naturally less focus. For you, again, it can have to do with a career path
or a job that has become less fulfilling and now you’re ready to pursue
something that is more meaningful, creative and less rigid.
Even though it’s Valentine’s day this month, it’s not the most romantic
of time periods for Scorpios. But perhaps you don’t mind that, given you being
so preoccupied with matters of the home, your finances and generally with
getting a feel for the new YOU that’s about to emerge over the next 12 months. Hold
out til March and your prospects should look a little more rosy although it’ll
still be up to you…
