June 2013 horoscope - Cancer

Cancer, you’ve been going all out over this past year and the last couple of months were a bit of a whirlwind with the eclipses affecting the very foundations of your life as well as where you are going next including your career and relationships. Most recently, you may have found yourself surrounded by a very different group of people, many from far-away places and many that have provided you with opportunities to step up the career ladder. This resulted in a nice little bonus to ring in the summer months and if this hasn’t happened yet, then the new Moon on 8^th June in Taurus signals a bit of additional cash landing in your lap. For most of you, this may be down to the hard work you’ve put into building your global client base, selling your or your company’s assets all over the world. Equally, if the latest eclipse cycle affected your career path to the extent that you feel you’ve seen enough, this new Moon is a time when you start networking again on a major scale – an in particular internationally. Group dynamics are also something that you will need to take into consideration or perhaps you are simply more aware of them now as your circle of friends may have expanded and changed beyond all recognition over the past 12 months. 

 

Early June is generally a good time for you to set yourself new goals for the next six to nine months and think about how you can achieve them. Your friends may play a substantial part in this.

 

However, the big news for June really is that Jupiter changes signs and moves into Gemini, the signs before yours. Together with the Sun, Venus, Mercury, the Moon and later on also Mars, Jupiter moves into your house of behind the scenes, mediation and rest. And just as well, it’s been a busy few months and you are probably craving a little downtime. You may have a little less energy now but it all serves the purpose of getting you back up and running come July. But for the time being, June 2013 will be a very intuitive period and your dreams may be more vivid than usual. Perhaps they are also trying to tell you something, so listen carefully. You may also find yourself daydreaming a lot more – you simply may want to be somewhere else now. That’s why this area in your chart which is so heavily emphasised this month also has to do with distant lands, long-distance travel, long periods abroad and beaches! Who knows, if you back your suitcase now, you may not come back. What may be good to be aware of is that over the next 12 months and in particular in June, you may come across as a little withdrawn or not quite present. This is often noticeable in people with a heavy 12^th house influence so if you have to stay highly focused at work and constantly interact, you may have to make the effort to get your point across clearly. 

 

What may make a clear focus and straight forward communication a little more difficult is that the grand air trine formed by Neptune, Saturn, Venus, Mercury, the Sun and the Moon connects three areas in your chart that are not very visible to everyone but yourself – and sometimes maybe not even yourself although, we know how much you value your privacy, Cancer! On a less tangible level, the areas are those of your intuition and your dreams, your emotions and hidden fears. There are no challenges involved in these areas but what you are left with is probably a feeling of ease and perhaps even contentment as you kind of find your happy medium again – at least for a little while. The only things you need to watch out for now is your health and overworking yourself to the point of exhaustion – your energy levels are at their all-year low. 

 

On a more tangible level, this grand trine can have an impact on your living situation (thinking about moving abroad?), your finances including sorting out bank loans and tax issues as well as visualising what your brand new life will look like. I know I started the previous sentence talking about what’s tangible about next month’s transits but the stellium in Gemini in your house of dreams and intuition just means that the external results are, well, more internal!

 

The full Moon on 23^rd June in Sagittarius then shakes you awake out of your dreamlike state and it’s quite literally back to work or back to the fitness studio! Your daily routines require some attention now. Venus also moves into your sign at the end of the month, ready to draw the spotlight on yourself just in time for your birthday. Not only has this a beneficial effect on relationships but also your emotional state.
