Libra, for the first week, the spotlight is still on your sign (which means, Happy Birthday!!) so you’ll enjoy the company of family and friends, spoil yourself and let others pamper you – just as you like it. Not only do you yourself feel more attractive now, other people fall prey to your charm more easily. So, if you are single, this is great news and you’ll feel a lot lighter and as if you’ve lost a weight off your shoulder. Not only has this to do with the amount of attention people pay you, it has to do with Saturn’s move into the next sign of Scorpio. The full Moon on 6th November is in Aries and in the area of your chart to do with relationships is the first one in over two years (well, it’s been three years in fact, it’s been a very long Saturn transit, this one) that doesn’t involve Saturn. Something that began in early 2013 now comes to an end; a difficult relationship, expectations that haven’t been met or some other relationship scenario or idea that’s moving on to the next stage. For some Libras, this also includes your work where partnerships and agreements play their part.
This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Bharani, ruled by Venus. Bharani ruled by Venus. Bharani is the Bearer. In the nakshatra of Bharani, this Moon position is described as carrying a burden, carry expectations or bearing responsibility, carrying on with duties regardless. In your case, it relates to any on-to-one situation where you are expected to take responsibility for your share of the deal. After Saturn in your sign for so long, you won’t have an issue with that and it may be that you are now the one asking others to have integrity, be responsible for their actions and follow through on their promises.
Then, after a few weeks of everyone going through the eclipse cycle, the next big thing in the sky is that Saturn changes signs on 2nd November and moves from Libra to Scorpio. After two and a half years of working on more balanced relationships or situations where we have Libra in our chart, it’s time for a step change and a refocus to a different part of life where we all now have to learn our biggest lessons. In the sign of Scorpio, this, more generally speaking has to do with intense commitments. The agent of ‘no-change’, conformity, uniformity, very slow movement, freezing up and standstill is now in the sign of sudden changes, transformation, healing, sexual energy and appeal, power, money, psychology and secrets. Saturn in Scorpio resists sudden changes and transformation, making healing processes of all kind not necessarily more difficult but it certainly slows down the process. And where the ‘healing’ process hasn’t even begun yet, Saturn forces us to take a closer look now – and quite possibly develop a thicker skin. This is also a period where we need to learn to deal with others’ controlling and manipulative behaviours and find a way to say ‘stop, no more’. The ‘danger’ with Saturn in Scorpio is that sudden changes, the various emergencies and upheavals are more difficult to deal if we are not able to respond accordingly or swiftly.
For you, the next couple of years (and a bit) and where your biggest learnings, teachings and wisdom will come from is from the area of your chart to do with your income, possessions, family and – if it makes sense to you – the way you talk. More than ever, or at least for 29 years, November 2014 is a month where your financial plans will have to be tightened up. For many, this is related to your own business or your home or both. If you have a goal in mind to do with that, then this is the time when you will be or will have to be a lot stricter with your spending habits. You won’t be in the mood to overspend, that’s for sure, nor will circumstances allow you to do so. In short, you’ll streamline your finances!
On the more positive side, you’ll become hugely intolerant of others’ pretentious behaviours and you are keen to speak your mind – although initially, this is something you may not be used to, you prefer to keep the balance, and it may even pose a significant challenge but one you’ll be asked to work on over time.
