Sagittarius, you have got Mars and Pluto travelling through your sign together this month and on the one hand, this give you a lot of power and drive to get what you want, on the other hand, it can make you a little more ruthless than usual – not necessarily a bad thing if it’s directed into commercial activities and you aiming to get your own business off the ground, not so great for relationships. With the combinations in your chart, especially for those with their Ascendant in Sagittarius, Mars in this position can also mean a bit of long-distance travel – in a broader sense, it also means being away from your usual environment, perhaps even for quite some time, withdrawing a little, being caught up in a dream world or simply feeling a bit spent from the demands of the year so far.
The full Moon on 6th November is in Aries and in the
area of your chart to do with romance, children, fun and creativity and has to
do with clearing the karma and a certain healing process in these areas. This
full Moon is in the nakshatra of Bharani, ruled by Venus. Bharani ruled by
Venus. Bharani is the Bearer. In the nakshatra of Bharani, this Moon position
is described as carrying a burden, carry expectations or bearing
responsibility, carrying on with duties regardless. In your case, whatever
began in May 2013 that meant a certain amount of extra responsibility is
reaching a conclusion now – most likely to be related to romance, children and
potentially finances.
Then, after a few weeks of everyone going through the eclipse
cycle, the next big thing in the sky is that Saturn changes signs on 2nd
November and moves from Libra to Scorpio. After two and a half years of working
on more balanced relationships or situations where we have Libra in our chart,
it’s time for a step change and a refocus to a different part of life where we
all now have to learn our biggest lessons. In the sign of Scorpio, this, more
generally speaking has to do with intense commitments. The agent of
‘no-change’, conformity, uniformity, very slow movement, freezing up and
standstill is now in the sign of sudden changes, transformation, healing,
sexual energy and appeal, power, money, psychology and secrets. Saturn in
Scorpio resists sudden changes and transformation, making healing processes of
all kind not necessarily more difficult but it certainly slows down the process.
And where the ‘healing’ process hasn’t even begun yet, Saturn forces us to take
a closer look now – and quite possibly develop a thicker skin. This is also a
period where we need to learn to deal with others’controlling and manipulative
behaviours and find a way to say ‘stop, no more’.The ‘danger’ with Saturn in
Scorpio is that sudden changes, the various emergencies and upheavals are more
difficult to deal if we are not able to respond accordingly or swiftly.
For you, the next couple of years (and a bit) and your task will be
to remove all unnecessary appendages, assumptions and subconscious expectations
and develop a more neutral and pragmatic understanding. That means a lot of
thinking, going within yourself and solitude– not necessarily loneliness but
you’ll crave those quite moments that allow you to think and realise. However,
this is a great placement for in-depth study– especially in the sign of
Scorpio.
More than ever, this is a month where you are likely to be very
focused on what is going on within yourself, this is not a month when you focus
so much on what is going on around. It kind of is the quiet before the storm,
before the majority of planets burst into your own sign in December, one by
one. This is a time of withdrawal and preparation and again, for some of you,
it may just mean long-distance travels and not being present in your usual
surroundings.
The new Moon on 22nd November in the sign of Scorpio is
in this area of your chart and is a bit of a welcome for Saturn and an
introduction of what’s to come over the next two and a half years. At this
point, the majority of the planets gather in the sign before yours, meaning
you’ll want to spend some time alone working on yourself. Sometimes seclusion
is the only way to repair, getting away from the distractions of life. After
the year you’ve had, you might actually enjoy this time period – after all,
December is your month and Party Time! Have a good one, Sag!
