Aquarius, the
past weeks were a busy time for you from many perspectives and March continues
in the same vein. From an astrological perspective, March is an exciting month
with Jupiter, the planet of luck and abundance moving forward on 7th March,
Saturn, your ruler, and Mars going retrograde for quite some time and two new Moons
in the same month. The new Moon in your own sign on 1st March is your
annual new beginning and your starting signal to press ahead. For some this is
a new cycle for relationships with the willingness to sort out any issues,
conflict situations that may have been there. Some Aquarians start the month
with a more realistic view when it comes to relationships – although you may
have to realise first what went wrong or what could be improved.
Once this new
Moon has passed and you’re on your way into your new solar year, Jupiter, the
planet of expansion moves forward again in the area of your chart to do with
children, creativity and romance. Jupiter in your chart rules the areas to do
with family and gains and currently aspects your own sign until the summer. If
other factors in the chart are in alignment, this could be a time to get
pregnant for those of you that choose to have children. Other Aquarians where
the Uranian side is a lot stronger, will feel the need to be creative quite
strongly in the sense of expressing yourself and your personality. Although
there is a lot of craziness around, you’re kind of protected and looked after
by the planets with a lot of luck and opportunity around. In particular your
financial situation will benefit from Jupiter’s change in direction.
Even though
your ruler, Saturn, is going retrograde on 3rd March until 20th July 2014, I
don’t think you’ll feel completely stuck. As an Aquarian, it is your
prerogative to change your mind, try something new and come back with a new
perspective and attitude. Changes in attitude and beliefs may have happened
quite a bit over the past months and even years and as a result some Aquarians
have gone back into higher education to learn, research and understand. Over
the next months, you may just have to review your thought processes once again,
re-work this academic paper you’ve been working on and perhaps also come up
with a plan B. Once you’ve got this out of the way, you can press ahead with
your travel plans in the summer!
Not only is
March a busy time for you in general, it’s also a busy time for your finances.
Especially with Jupiter going direct, you do have the chance to attract a bit
of money to you but your outgoings may be just as large. Mars, the planet of
action but also war, goes retrograde on 2nd March until
20th May and enters the area of your chart to do with other people’s
money, bank loans, tax and inheritance. A change and transformation in this
area over the coming months can have an impact on your general life direction
and status in society if you like or simply in your career. The full Moon on 16th March in
Virgo takes place in this area of your chart and highlights, similar to the new
Moon, any issues with joint finances and the balance of give and take as well
as the values you hold in relationships. The difference is that now, something
is coming to an end and a close. Above and beyond anything to do with joint
finances and even intimacy, this can be a long loan application process and
other tax or inheritance matters.
This full Moon
is in the nakshatra of Hasta and is ruled by the Moon. According to ancient
astrology, this nakshatra has the power to manifest what one seeks and is a
placement of healing through the hands but also through the mind, i.e. our
intellect. As this nakashatra is ruled by the Moon, we’re also trying to
protect what we have and those we love avoiding any unnecessary disruption and
risk at all cost. During these times, there may also be a tendency to parent
our partners which now comes from a need to comfort and protect those around
us. For you, much of this can have to do with your physical and long-held
possessions you are, quite naturally, trying to protect. The new Moon two weeks
later on 31st March is in Pisces and is conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden
and erratic change and behaviour, forming a square with Pluto and opposing
Mars. This is a bit of an explosive combo so make sure you get all your ducks
in one row. If a romantic or business partner is involved in this process,
start the discussion around joint finances, children and property early on. Have a great
