Scorpio, from
an astrological perspective, March is an exciting month with Jupiter, the
planet of luck and abundance moving forward on 7th March, Saturn going
retrograde on 3rd March until 20th July 2014, and Mars, your ruler, going
retrograde from 2nd March to 20th May and two new Moons in the same month. The
first of the two takes place on 1st March in Aquarius and in the area of your
chart to do with your sense of security, your home and where you live as well
as your mother and the nurturing you are able or willing to give and receive.
This is a new beginning in this area of your life and one that is likely to be
connected to your work and your beliefs. Over the next two to three years many
Scorpios will leave a good chunk of their 'old' life behind and start something
new - some might already get a slight feeling of what this may be and teaching,
mentoring or research could be one them. At this very moment in time, this is
not a very strong possibility just yet but this month, you may start looking
into your options, the requirements and what this means for you, your current
job and where you live. Equally and most likely the beginning of March is quite
a creative time at home, perhaps you entertain a lot at home or you are quite
concretely looking at a change of scenery, if only for a little while. For a
brief moment, this might make you feel a bit lost but this is an opportunity
for change in your surroundings. You are also supported by Jupiter, the planet
of luck, who, from the area in your chart to do with other people's money, is
supporting you.
Once this new
Moon has passed, your attention turns once again to involvement with large
groups, networking and social activities, profits and fundraising as well as
your hopes and wishes. Mars, your ruler and the planet of action and war, goes
retrograde on 2nd March and returns once again into this area in your chart.
Over this time, you may be engaged in social and / or mass movements with a
large circle of friends and business acquaintances. You turn into a networker
now so you may find it easy to operate and move in any place where people need
to be connected or where mental connections need to be made. You are
commercially quite astute now and feel comfortable in large social groups and
assemblies, as a fundraiser and generally where there is a lot of trade and
deal-making to be done. There is a marked tendency for you to want to be
involved in the global and commercial business world, where perhaps you have
the opportunity to create new markets. Profits, friendships, networking and
socialising become more pressing matters during this transit but also around
the full Moon on 16th March in Virgo.
This full Moon
is in the nakshatra of Hasta and is ruled by the Moon. According to ancient
astrology, this nakshatra has the power to manifest what one seeks and is a
placement of healing through the hands but also through the mind, i.e. our
intellect. As this nakashatra is ruled by the Moon, we’re also trying to
protect what we have and those we love avoiding any unnecessary disruption and
risk at all cost. During these times, there may also be a tendency to parent
our partners which now comes from a need to comfort and protect those around
us. For you, this can relate to your friends who can be quite important to you
and for you during this full Moon through to the completion of an important and
long-term work project you've been handling for the past six to nine months.
For some Scorpios, the social calendar is full to the brim over this period and
if you are currently single, then March and the coming months are a good time
to mingle for you. You should also use March and try and meet someone through
other channels than 'just' your group of friends - new and innovative ways to
connect with other people provide a real opportunity for you now, if only to
have some new faces around you. Romance is highlighted especially during the
last days of the month so be ready - it can happen quicker than you think.
For other
Scorpios who are not this way inclined at the moment, the last two weeks in
March provide a chance to build on your creativity and your talents - you have
the right audience listening to you now and the appropriate channels to
communicate with your followers now, so use it to your advantage and remember
what you've learnt around communication and speaking before you think over the
course of November, December and January.
March ends
with a new Moon on 31st in Pisces, conjunct Uranus, the planet of sudden and
erratic change and behaviour and forming a square with Pluto and opposing Mars.
This is a heavy load and on the one hand, much of it seems to have to do with
finances, money, speculation, inheritance and profits. On the other hand, this
new Moo is a new cycle to do with romance, intimacy, your social circle,
friends and family matters. In any case, there are some obstacles to overcome
but the new beginning and perhaps the solution lies in your ability and
willingness to take a risk, be yourself and most of all - try and enjoy. Romantically,
this can be an interesting but potentially explosive combination! Have a great
