From an
astrological perspective, March is an exciting month with Jupiter, your ruler
and the planet of luck and abundance moving forward on 7th March, Saturn and
Mars going retrograde for quite some time and two new Moons in the same month.
The first of the two takes place on 1st March in Aquarius and in the area of
your chart to do with ideas, thoughts, communication, short projects,
neighbours and siblings as well as your skills and skills training. In the sign
of innovation and group activities, this could have to do with a new project
that you're trying to get off the ground with those at a distance or with
people from a different culture to yours. Whatever it is, it seems as though
you're doing this jointly with others, so joint finances could be part of the
picture. Equally, this is a time to get through paperwork, applications and
contracts - for example for a new training course, some Sagittarians are
thinking of becoming teachers of mentors themselves now. Others are having to
deal with family finances and paper work and contracts associated with that. If
this is the case, some Sagittarians may also discover a thing or two about
their family and family finances that they didn't know had existed.
Once this new
Moon has passed, Jupiter, your ruling planet, moves forward again in the area
of your chart to do with committed relationships. Although a ruling planet in
this area of anyone's chart is a promising sign, the opposition from Pluto and
the square from Uranus and more recently also Mars, have made life with or
perhaps also without a partner a little difficult and challenging. Jupiter in
the sign of Gemini also wasn't fully able to be at its most optimistic.
Nevertheless, what the recent retrograde period may have brought to you is a
renewed understanding of your relationship needs, the kind of partner you're
after or indeed if you want to be with someone in the first place as challenges
around dominance, personal freedom and common goals have certainly presented
themselves. In those cases where you worked through relationship issues, some
of them seem to be resolved now.
In March, your
career and for some also your general life direction become more pressing
matters over the next weeks and months. First through the full Moon on 16th
March in Virgo in this area of your chart. This full Moon is in the nakshatra
of Hasta and is ruled by the Moon. According to ancient astrology, this
nakshatra has the power to manifest what one seeks and is a placement of
healing through the hands but also through the mind, i.e. our intellect. As
this nakashatra is ruled by the Moon, we’re also trying to protect what we have
and those we love avoiding any unnecessary disruption and risk at all cost.
During these times, there may also be a tendency to parent our partners which
now comes from a need to comfort and protect those around us. For you, much of
this is work related - many Sagittarians may now feel the need to defend their
territory at work. Although there is never a danger of that with a Sagittarius,
don't become too narrow-minded about it. Some may also experience some kind of
transformation at work, perhaps even an end of one particular position or
career path. Think about what began in September 2012 and you may be able to
see what is coming to its natural conclusion or entering its final phase now.
Secondly,
Mars, the planet of action, goes retrograde on 2nd March until 20th May and
also impacts your house of career, life direction and reputation for the next
two and a half months. Mars at the top of your chart is a very productive
placement for (medical) research and communication where a lot of attention to
detail is required and a transit under which you can achieve a lot. What you
need to be aware of now is not to be overly domineering with those around you
and in particular at work. Keep your temper under control and avoid becoming
unnecessarily argumentative. Nevertheless, you are able to move mountains now
with great impact at work especially in international settings and where much
is accomplished behind closed doors, hatching yours plans with a select few.
This is where and when your true leadership skills shine through these days.
The only thing is, if you are not careful, you may experience a loss of
physical vitality when you give everything to your job, being the leader of a
team. This is also a very public placement and you may find that there is very
little privacy in the sense that you are often in demand and other people want
you to be around, i.e. physically present.
With Saturn
going retrograde on 3rd March until 20th July 2014, it may seem as though
finances, funding and those large bonuses are less attainable. However, you
will simply have to review some of your longer-term financial planning, project
work and your new business skills.
Finally, the
new Moon on 31st March is in Pisces and is conjunct Uranus, the planet of
sudden and erratic change and behaviour forming a square with Pluto and
opposing Mars. For you, this happens in the area of your chart to do with home
and where you live. This is a new cycle and if you have been looking for a new
place to live, this can now happen very quickly. Although you'll need to sweep
away some of the challenges in your path, this is an opportunity for a greater
