Cancer, you start April with your mind and thoughts still on money and your or your partner's financial situation.
You may have been applying for a loan, had to deal with inheritance or were
required to look into insurance deals. Equally, your romantic or business
partner may have had to deal with a financial situation of some sort. This is likely
to continue into April where you have the opportunity to get your point across
in a structured and clear manner. However, there is also an element of secrecy
attached to this current transit and some of what you consider fact may in the end
turn out to be closer to fiction than actual reality. This simply means that if
you are having to make financial decisions , deals and are involved in
negotiations, get someone in to help you double-check the small print.
At the same time, you start off April with an intense last quarter Moon that comes arm in arm with Pluto in your house of work, fitness and health. Last quarter Moons can be a time of returns and reviews as well as a time of harvest and this Moon phase is connected to last year’s full Moon in early July so think about what happened then. It’s typically a very busy time where you finish up things from the past. For you, this Moon phase is likely to be connected to the end of your annual cycle - perhaps you've let go of outdated behaviour patterns or thought processes or at the very least, you became aware of them and realised that they no longer serve your needs. On a less spiritual level and if you have been required to watch your health, then this may just be the time when you see some improvement after having decided to change your eating habits, adopt a new fitness regime or generally make some changes in the way you go about your daily life. During these early April 2013 days, it might be that you are now seeing the benefits of even the smallest of changes you've started to make. April 2013 is also one of the more intense months of the year as we are gearing up to the lunar eclipse on 25th April – one of 5 eclipses this year hitting your area of your emotional life, your past, your home and living environment. You as well as the other cardinal signs, Libra, Capricorn and Aries, are undergoing one of the more impactful cycles in life where the key areas our lives are built on are affected. For some years now, you may have wanted to move home, sort out the attic or indeed tidy up your emotional life and throw out the ghosts from the past. Over these coming 18 months, this process, which already started last year, continues an reaches a major milestone during the lunar eclipse. Now, lunar eclipses are full Moons and as with all full Moons, our emotions are heightened and we react from the heart rather than the head so these times are often also marked with changes in relationships as they affect our emotional affairs. However, tied into an eclipse, it might be time of powerful change, transformation and a turning point for many Cancerians. In recent years, I started paying very close attention to the eclipses am now convinced that that these times often marks endings or culmination and turning points, they are the wild cards of the transits, the bonus cards, the lottery and the wins. They shake us up so that we can move from one level of evolution and maturity to another, higher phase, fairly rapidly. While, occasionally, a lunar eclipse can have to do with a change in career or place of work, depending on where it falls in your chart, lunar eclipses tend to bring with them the encounters that change our lives. They bring along those monumental break-ups, make-ups or general changes in status. Whatever it may be, they often signify the point of no return when we are asked to simply move forward in our lives. These times are often major catalysts in our life that provide the fuel for huge transformations. So Cancer, for you, a house move may finally be on the cards - one that has been coming for some time. This could be tied into a change in career or your work place, where, perhaps you are required to take on new responsibilities or initiate a new project.
