April 2013 horoscope - Pisces

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the Pisces April 2013 horoscope for birthdays from 15^th March to 13^th April or Pisces Ascendants and Moons

It’s still your birthday month Pisces and as you finished up March, you will have more and more had the feeling that you are leaving the old year behind and that you are crossing a bridge and you are starting your new annual solar cycle. This month, the spotlight is still on you and your focus is on the decisions you are beginning to make when it comes to the next 12 months and your life direction. You start off April with an intense last quarter Moon that comes arm in arm with Pluto in your house of career and profession which can be a time of returns and reviews as well as a time of harvest. So the cheque may be in the post or a new employer may be knocking on your door. Equally, if you are self-employed, this may be a period of expanding your client base. This Moon phase is connected to last year’s full Moon in early July so think about what happened then. It’s typically a very busy time where you finish up things from the past.

Generally speaking, the first 10 days or so in April, make you feel more attractive and more outgoing than you would have done in March during the stellium in your house of behind the scenes, secret dealings and foreign affairs. In particular financial matters can now be more easily resolved, achieved or smoothed over. Alternatively, you could be in a position where you attract money to you more easily either through your partner, loans you applied for, an inheritance or an insurance payout. But finances could also come to you based on the ideas you have been developing over the past year, projects at work you have been handed – in certain circumstances perhaps even via your siblings.

All this attractive energy in the first house also has a positive impact on your relationships, in particular as Mercury, the ruler of your house of relationships,  is now speeding through your 12^th house of behind the scenes. This means that day by day your thoughts and the way you communicate is becoming clearer again and situations connected to your relationships are easier to resolve after what perhaps was a period of confusion and lack of clarity. When the ruler of your relationships is in the area of your chart of behind the scenes, this also means that there is a tendency to keep relationships a secret or your partner is somewhat unavailable, perhaps because they simply are or because they are currently abroad, just not really there. If this was the case then you should see a change after the 10^th March as you will be able to tackle what’s been bothering you in your relationship much better again.

The real start of your new solar year comes with the new Moon on 10^th April in your sign. Ruled by the nakshatra of Rivati, this new Moon, on the one hand, has very gentle qualities aimed at spiritual enlightenment and intuitive understanding of how the world works. But on the other hand, this new Moon is also square Pluto in your area of career and life direction. Over the course of this year, you will realise that if you have been working towards a goal and life direction that is compatible with your new sense of self, desire for more freedom and your philosophical points of view, this is likely to be a hugely productive period for you. This is both in terms of your sense of self and your relationships which won’t get away unscathed from the transformation your life is undergoing right now. But during this time, you may also be faced with some of the more difficult decisions you are faced with based on your life evolving at quite a rate, how you define yourself in it and how you want to fill your days moving forward.

April 2013 is also one of the more intense months of the year as we are gearing up to the lunar eclipse on 25^th April – one of 5 eclipses this year hitting your finances. A lunar eclipse is always a full Moon, so our emotions are heightened and we react from the heart rather than the head so these times are often also marked with changes in relationships as they affect our emotional affairs. So this might be a time of powerful change, transformation and a turning point for many Pisceans. In recent years, I started paying very close attention to the eclipses am now convinced that that these times often marks endings or culmination and turning points, they are the wild cards of the transits, the bonus cards or the lottery wins. They shake us up so that we can move from one level of evolution and maturity to another, higher phase, fairly rapidly. While, occasionally, a lunar eclipse can have to do with a change in career or place of work, depending on where it falls in your chart, lunar eclipses tend to bring with them the encounters that change our lives. They bring along those monumental break-ups, make-ups or general changes in status. Whatever it may be, they often signify the point of no return when we are asked to simply move forward in our lives. These times are often major catalysts in our life that provide the fuel for huge transformations. For you Pisces, these changes are happening across your financial axis – most likely connected to the current change of heart about where you are heading next and / or your career. If it is the case that one source of income is taken away from you then it is likely to be replaced with something more substantial over the next six to nine months – again, all connected to your increasing focus on sorting out your financial situation in the long-term.
