Gemini, you start
off April with an intense last quarter Moon that comes arm in arm with Pluto in
your house of personal and business
relationships. This Moon phase is connected to last year’s full Moon around your birthday in early July so think about what happened then. It’s typically a
very busy time where you finish up things from the past. It can be
a time of returns and reviews as well as a time of harvest. So for you, last year's full Moon in your opposite
sign could have been a time of realisations, revelations and completion to do
with your most committed relationships. One particular relationship could have
progressed to the next level or even just one particular situation in a
relationship could have ended or been modified in some way. The same goes for
relationship patterns - over the past 9 months, you could have come to the
conclusion that the way you have approached relationships no longer satisfies
you or fits in with your evolving expectations when it comes to commitment. This
also goes if you are single; there would have been a change in your approach
over the past year or so and as a result, the people you got or want to get
involved with look different, are different, the whole thing feels different. I've
mentioned this before but Geminis are in a hugely important relationship cycle
until late 2019 and it is through your closest contacts and encounters that you
will have the most profound experiences that will make you look at what
commitment really means in a very different light in the future. Through these
experiences you will be going through situations of death and rebirth (Phoenix
rising from the ashes and so on) but at the same time you have to learn to
establish some boundaries in order to avoid letting people into your life that
are in fact destructive, manipulative and those that are able to keep a hold on
you for no other reason than their own good. If this sounds familiar and you
have recognised it for what it is - a learning process - then hopefully, these
early April 2013 days sweep in a feeling of completion of a cycle for you. Let
me know how you are getting on!
In astrology, the area connected to your
relationships- - the ones you see, the committed partnerships both personal and
professional - also has to do with your trade.
This includes wherever there are negotiations to be held, deals to be made and
agreements to be drafted. So while the focus is on completing a certain
relationship cycle, your thoughts also still evolve around work, career,
profession and where you are headed next in life and your trade in early April 2013. Where and how will you want to
be visible and how is it you want to earn your money moving forward? The new Moon on 10th April in Pisces promises a new start in your area of
work and profession. It is a good time to start looking for a new job and
really put yourself out there for either new employers or potential customers
to take notice. You are still in your annual high cycle when it comes to your reputation and job, so make the
most of it. It's now also easier to attract
job offers to you - make sure your online profiles are
all up to date. Equally, for some years to come, Geminis are still in a cycle
where more freedom and space to do your own thing in your job is crucial, so
some may even decide to go it alone now. If you are employed and decide to
remain in that position be aware of the overly rebellious streak that may rear
its head all too easily at the moment. This year, there may also be strong
connection to abroad so offers or new customers could even come from quite far
afield. Now, this new Moon is ruled by the nakshatra of Rivati, and on the one hand, has very gentle qualities aimed at
spiritual enlightenment and intuitive understanding of how the world works. But
on the other hand, this new
Moon is also square Pluto so even the smallest changes and initiations can lead
to bigger transformations.
After around 10th April, the planets, one by one start moving into the area of your chart that has to do with your gains, hope and dreams, friends, business acquaintances and professional networks. A couple of years ago, the people you connect with professionally and your group of friends may have changed, expanded and even become more international, especially if your Ascendant is in Gemini. Now, you may see how this has benefited you, in particular if your growing circle of connections was associated with your work - i.e. a bonus may be on its way or, if you are self-employed, people will be increasingly knocking on your door. April 2013 is also one of the more intense months of the year as we are gearing up to the lunar eclipse on 25th; one of 5 eclipses this year hitting the area of your friends, networks and group activities on the one end of the scale and your own self-expression - including children - romance and creativity at the other end. Lunar eclipses are full Moons and as with all full Moons, our emotions are heightened and we react from the heart rather than the head so these times are often also marked with changes in relationships as they affect our emotional affairs. However, tied into an eclipse, it might be time of powerful change, transformation and a turning point. In recent years, I started paying very close attention to the eclipses am now convinced that that these times often marks endings or culmination and turning points, they are the wild cards of the transits, the bonus cards and the lottery wins. They shake us up so that we can move from one level of evolution and maturity to another, higher phase, fairly rapidly. While, occasionally, a lunar eclipse can have to do with a change in career or place of work, depending on where it falls in your chart, lunar eclipses tend to bring with them the encounters that change our lives. They bring along those monumental break-ups, make-ups or general changes in status. Whatever it may be, they often signify the point of no return when we are asked to simply move forward in our lives. These times are often major catalysts in our life that provide the fuel for huge transformations. For many zodiac signs, this eclipse cycle has the potential to bring with it some very fundamental changes but I feel for Geminis, this cycle has somewhat liberating qualities. Although it does have a side that wants you to take on more responsibility around children, perhaps you decide to have one, establish a more structured way to go about your creative self-expression and create firmer boundaries around who you get involved with romantically, ultimately, you have the chance to free yourself from limiting social expectations and group activities that no longer allow you to express who you are.
Have a liberating month, Gemini!
Monthly forecasts are very broad, so get in touch if you are interested in an individual chart reading. In readings, I use the Indian Dasha system in individual forecasts which is known for its accuracy. You can also follow me on Facebook and Twitter now, see you there.
