A lot of what is now coming into your life, the people you meet, where you do your business, where you negotiate and your physical place of work is connected to abroad. You may be in discussions about a new job, a new idea, or even think about a course of higher education or to further your on-the-job skills – whatever it is you decide to do next, you may not do it in the same place, city or country, you are currently living and working in. With Saturn and Rahu / the North node in your house of home and your living environment - not an easy transit for anyone but especially you sensitive crabs – the foundations of your life are being shaken up a little. The result, again, can be a change of address and not just down the road – this looks like a move to far-away places. The only thing that’s holding back progress now is Mercury in retrograde motion until 20th July. Mercury rules your area of intuition and far-away destinations as well as communication and paperwork so you may need to review contracts and agreements and go over the details with a fine tooth comb.
Now, this can of course primarily manifest on a physical level but even if you are about to move house or desperately want to because for some reason, you feel the walls are caving in on you, these transits can also manifest on a spiritual level. Not only are the areas to do with going abroad, making new experiences, learning something new, recuperating and broadening your horizons impacted, these are also the areas to do with your thinking and your intuition. The way you think and feel is changing too – based on what you’ll see and hear over these next few weeks and months.
What is helping you make the right decisions for yourself is Saturn, the great taskmaster, finally moving forward again and a supportive trine from Neptune into the area of your chart to do with your intuition. You can literally follow your heart this month and you’ll be fine.
Saturn moving forward again after months of retrograde motion also has a positive impact on how you feel in general. If you’ve been feeling any insecurities about yourself in the past few months, then you’ll now realise that it had to do with your changing attitude towards where you want to build your life, on which foundations and in particular with whom. Your relationships may have also gone through a somewhat rocky time or at the very least needed some restructuring – just like your living environment – but whatever knots have built up and tightened over time are loosening up somewhat. I know I’ve said that July is a time to recuperate and be on your own but you will have to make the time and void getting stressed. Your health and well-being are not at an all-time high, so watch the diet and go for long walks.
The new Moon on 7th July in Gemini in your house of letting go and behind the scenes is the trigger for these developments. It’s also the time when you start letting go of what you don’t want to carry over into your next solar year with you. This new Moon is in the nakshatra of Ardra, ruled by Rahu. This is the nakshtra of the wild one and the risk-taker. It is a somewhat shrewd placement where we communicate with wild force to elevate ourselves. The ruler of this nakshatra is currently in your 4th house, so again, connected to a change in your living environment, perhaps quite suddenly.
Towards the end of the month, the full Moon on 22nd July 2013 in Capricorn in your house of committed relationships introduces a slight shift in focus. The focus is now on your relationships and after all the contemplating and letting go, you might decide to say good-bye or move on to the next level in your relationship. It’s bound to be an emotional time with the Moon, your ruler, involved but ultimately a very productive one too. Saturn is in a square to the full Moon constellation, so there might be some painful realisations coming your way but equally, this can be a hugely productive time, especially with so many cardinal planets involved.
Have a momentous birthday month, Cancer!
