July 2013 horoscope - Taurus

Taurus, this is a great time to spread your wings professionally. You’ve put in a lot of hard work over the past few months as Saturn moves through your house of work, health and daily comings and goings. You may have felt under some pressure at work and you may have had to find a way to make better use of your time as trying to integrate work load with family responsibilities, going to the gym and having some down time…of which there may not be a lot at the moment. Although much of it is related to career and your life direction, as Saturn starts moving direct again on 9^th July, you’re ready to implement a new health regime or you’ve understood how to manage the work load much better. If you are the type to get stressed easily at work, and I’d imagine that not many Taureans do, this could have had an impact on your health in which case, you should now also start seeing some improvement. If you haven’t, then it certainly is time to join the running club and start cutting out some of that sugar. This will also help you remain or become more focused and productive – one of the key learnings of this transit.

Now, for you, physical well-being can also be connected to how your bank balance is doing and this, together with an overall focus on career and what you actually want to do in life are major themes at the moment. In particular July 2013 is a month where you’ll see some results of all the self-promotion you’ve been doing in May and June. It really seems as though you are growing either in your current role or in an entirely new one. You’ve probably realised by now that where you are heading in life is not so straight forward and as everyone, you want to leave your mark in this world but exactly how, you’re not so sure of. Over the past years, you’ve had Uranus going over the top of you chart and now Neptune, two quite unpredictable and intangible planets that either cause disruption or confusion, so the best thing you can do is go with the flow. Not so easy for a stubborn bull but perhaps now in particular, you realise how beneficial it can be not to insist on pushing through your point of view or stubbornly resisting change. You are learning to look at things from a different perspective now and this gives you insights that eventually lead to something more fulfilling, perhaps even, if you can manage it, with less of a focus on the bank balance.

Nevertheless, your financial situation is in the spotlight with all your money houses being activated this month. There is enormous potential for you to negotiate a better salary, for you to receive the loan you’ve applied for or benefit from an inheritance or some sort of money coming from your family or your partner – this also includes business partners. The only niggling point is Mercury in retrograde motion until 20^th July in your house of earned income. So, if, for example, you are changing jobs which usually always means that the first time you get paid is during the second month of your employment, you will have to economise a little as you switch jobs. Equally, there may be other bills coming your way or you are generally feeling quite generous with your cash. In the worst case, you are even taking big risks financially, so be sure it’s worth investing in that stock market fund your so-called independent financial advisor suggested will yield big profits.

In any case, the new Moon on 7^th July in Gemini in your house of money unlocks the potential for a raise and alongside Jupiter, this could be quite a nice increase – and just in time for the holiday season which, it seems, you’ll be making the most of in August.

This new Moon is in the nakshatra of Ardra, ruled by Rahu. This is the nakshtra of the wild one and the risk-taker. It is a somewhat shrewd placement where we communicate with wild force to elevate ourselves. The ruler of this nakshatra is currently in your 6^th house of arguments, conflict and disagreements. So, again, you may be more willing than usual to take financial risks and you may be more argumentative to get what you want and push your own ideas through at work regardless. This may just work as you could charm a bird out of a tree this month.

And this is because Venus, your ruler, is in the house communication, writing sales, gadgets, new ideas and new experiences, learning, skills and short-journeys. This makes you very busy as you’ll be rushing around, debating, communicating, selling and developing new ideas. Equally, you may play a bigger role at work where you have to be involved in teamwork or if you listen to that quite voice to join a sports club, then being involved in some sort of team exercise regime could be part of what keeps you busy this month. This is also the house of publishing so, you with all these money-spinning ideas going through your mind, you could even start a blog now – as you are Taurus, perhaps it’s related to food! The full Moon on 22^nd July 2013 in Capricorn in your house of publishing could indeed see you launch this project.

Alternatively, this may also be the time for you to pack your suitcase, books that last minute holiday deal and get on that plane. New experiences connected to travelling are possible…but only if you manage to get through that mountain of work first.

If you are single, you may now also want to sign up for an online dating website – you come across very well at the moment through various types of communication and who knows, there may be someone to enjoy the summer months with or, if you are in the Southern hemisphere, someone to cosy up to in front of the fire place.

So, a great month with a lot of potential to increase your finances, especially after Mercury goes direct again so that the T-square between Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter won’t do too much harm. On the contrary, it may push you to bigger and better things. Although there may still be also be some challenges involved in this area in July, this is nevertheless a very productive time and perhaps there is a sense that almost nothing can now stop you from reaching your goals if only you put your mind to it. A lot of the most successful people in the world have T-squares in their chart natally as this combination focuses their energies into a certain areas of life.
