Having said that, you will still have the support, or stern eye, whichever way you want to look at it, of Saturn on your own sign. Usually, I’d say that Saturn delays and holds back, and in this case, it’s the same principle but in a very positive way. Basically, it takes the edge of the over-abundance and over-optimism that Jupiter in opposition to your already buoyant sign introduces.
If you are already in a relationship, the July 2013 will be a time the what, where and whens are the main talking points on your agenda including joint finances and general resources, which feature strongly this month. While Mercury, the planet of communication is still retrograde until 20th July, there may be a lot of going back and forth over old ground, chewing over certain relationship issues once again and perhaps even your partner raising some doubts. Hopefully, this time, you will be able to draw a line under previous disagreement and sticking points.
July 2013 is also a peak month for your career. If you haven’t played that role up to now, you are now turning into the Number One corporate deal maker, alliance-crafter, financial negotiator and general match-maker. Even though Mercury in retrograde means going over some old ground, he is still in his own sign of Gemini, together with the Sun, Mars and Jupiter, so in all things connected to building a solid alliance, your communication skills and intellect will see you through.
If you’re still trying to wipe the slate clean, then the new Moon on 7th July in Gemini is the time to do so. Any kind of negotiation and acts of diplomacy are highlighted during this period, as it is a favourable time to begin new relationships or to re-define existing ones. If you are single, then the urge to do something about it or at the very least, change you attitude becomes prominent.
Also, this new Moon is in the nakshatra of Ardra, ruled by Rahu. This is the nakshtra of the wild one and the risk-taker. It is a somewhat shrewd placement where we communicate with wild force to elevate ourselves. The ruler of this nakshatra, Rahu, is currently in your 11th house together with Saturn, so while you may be keen to take some risks in relationships or any deal-making situation, Saturn will be there to rein you in and ensure you keep your feet on the ground.
Talking about Saturn, you’ll be pleased to hear that he is moving direct again after a six-month retrograde period. This has an immensely beneficial impact on your finances which have not necessarily experienced a nose dive over the past months but you would have had to work quite hard for any profits and bonuses. Now that you’ve worked hard towards that bonus or networked your socks off for a better position, you should start seeing some rewards. Saturn is exalted in Libra so any additional gains and income coming your way now will also have long-term potential, providing a solid basis for you moving forward. The full Moon on 22nd July 2013 in Capricorn in your house of income may then be the time the bonus check lands on your door step.
Then, with Jupiter now in Gemini for the next year, the ongoing square between Uranus and Pluto turns into a T-square with Jupiter opposing Pluto in your first house. For a long time now, you’ve changing, transforming, evolving and getting rid of the dead wood in your basement. Now, the input to change and transform also comes through partnerships and if you are not currently in a relationship then the one that is to come may be a hugely important one – one that ultimately may also help you heal in one way or the other.
So, as always with squares, there will also be some challenges involved in this area in July but this is nevertheless a very productive time and perhaps there is a sense that almost nothing can now stop you from reaching your personal and professional goals if only you put your mind to it.
Have a powerful month, Sagittarius!
