June monthly horoscope - Sagittarius

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the June 2014 horoscope for birthdays from 16^th December to 14^th January or Sagittarius Ascendants and Moons

Sag, I've mentioned it before but this first half of the year has been a rollercoaster ride for many of us and in particular for the mutable signs of which yours is one. The Grand Cross shook up your world in many areas and with your ruler, Jupiter, in your opposite sign of Gemini, it was mainly your relationships that were the main source of concern, transformation, worry but ultimately learning. Jupiter has been a mixed blessing - on the one hand expanding your world, providing you with opportunity and a sense of optimism, an even greater ability to sell yourself and your skills. On the other hand, Jupiter has made you a little more fickle and too focused on the small print and while you're not one yourself to commit too readily and easily, it could have also been your mate that was less ready to tie the knot and make a firm commitment. This is of course not the case for all Sagittarians and much depends on your level of maturity and sense of self-awareness. In fact, many Sagittarians may well have learnt some valuable partnership lessons and the right levels of freedom and closeness that the outcome now is a very happy union. In any case, the big news is that Jupiter changes signs on 19th June and moves into the sign of Cancer. Jupiter feels extraordinarily comfortable in this sign and promises a year of abundance, optimism and expansion in the area in the chart it travels trough. Over the next year, Jupiter delivers a 'Golden Opportunity' which may be veiled, covered or disguised behind the appearance of surprising upheaval and sudden changes, deep transformation and rebirth-type situations in your life. That's the internal side. On an external level, you may be dealing with other people’s money, such as family assets, wills, estates or other investments that you'll manage on behalf of others. The main keywords associated for you with this transit are transformation and rebirth. 

 

In the meantime, Mercury is going retrograde from 7th until 30th June. This also happens in the area of your chart to do with relationships and gives you time to rethink, reconnect and pick up where you left off. Some Sagittarians will need to address certain issues again but with Mars pressing ahead again and a new Moon in this area of your chart at the end of the month, this is not a major obstacle or stumbling block. 

 

The full Moon this month takes place on 12th June in Scorpio in your house of behind the scenes and foreign countries. This is that time of the year where you unwind, let go and recharge the batteries. This is not a dramatic full Moon, it's one that can easily pass you by but think about what began in mid-December 2012. Perhaps you had a sudden insight and realisation, a change of heart, belief or levels of awareness or a new thought process that started. For some, other people's money and foreign investments are also part of the picture. In any case, this is wrapped up now and completed. All in a fairly timely manner before the new you emerges over the next twelve months. This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Jyestha and is ruled by the planet Mercury. Under the influence of Jyestha, we seek to be the best in whatever we do and we may well achieve this but mainly through our own efforts. This puts you at an advantage in whatever area the full Moon falls and hence, you can reap the rewards for your efforts. However, with the sign of Scorpio involved here others' jealously can be part of the picture with this placement.

 

You end the month with new Moon in Gemini on 27th June in your house of committed relationships and introduces a new cycle in your partnership sector. This is great news if you are single and looking as the focus on connecting with the right partner on a deeper level is certainly present. Not only June but also July should be an interesting month for that. Have a great month, it's the beginning of a summer full of shifts and change.
