Happy birthday Cancer! And what a birthday month it is! I’ve already mentioned it in June when Jupiter moved into your own and sign and into your
first house of your body, your Self and how you go out into the world and how
he world views you. And as every year during this month, it’s your
annual and very personal new Moon, this time on 27th July.
It’s a new beginning for you, a new start and a time to plan ahead and make a
wish for what you want to see emerging and developing over the next six to nine
months. Much will have to do with your income, further studying, travelling and
meeting new people from different backgrounds. Make sure you don’t over stretch
yourself during this time – even though your new-found confidence makes you
want to keep going with the speed of light, your body may think differently.
But anyway, this is a great summer for you and the beginning of a year that can
change your life. Needless to say that you confidence, enthusiasm and optimism that
Cancerians are not always and naturally prone to is also attractive to the
opposite sex.
The full Moon on 12th July
together with Pluto is a bit of an intense one
and brings things around health, fitness and other imbalances to a close – perhaps with a bang and concludes
what began in January 2013 and
which picked up pace again in October 2013. Some of you may have been arguing over money, had
to deal with some smaller health matters while others may have had some
difficulties at work around these dates – in any case, some imbalance needed
and needs to be addressed. Perhaps it’s just a matter of making time for yourself
for a little while...
This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Purvashada
and is ruled by Venus. The meaning of this nakshatra is that of Early Victory
and the invincible sea; wealth is said to be consistently high and this is
generally a generous and positive Moon and gives a natural ability to organise
and manage but with a tendency to jump to conclusions. Nevertheless, one that has an element of optimism and a taste of the big wide world.
However, the other big news this summer is that Rahu / the North node and
Ketu / the South node are changing signs. Rahu and Ketu denote the points of
intersection of the paths of the Sun and the Moon as they
transit through the sky. Therefore, Rahu and Ketu are respectively called the
North and the South nodes of the Moon. The eclipses occur when the Sun and the
Moon are at one of these points. Wherever Rahu travels through denotes the area
in the chart where the most change, disruption but ultimately growth happens.
For the past 18 months, you’ve
been preoccupied with your home and family, many of you moved or thought about
it, changed the wall paper or bought a new home. Equally, some you may have had
to deal with changes in your childhood home. Now and for the next 18 months, your
efforts are directed to establishing your own business and marketing that,
creating something from scratch and making a success out of it, building something
with your hands and getting your point across. For many Cancerians, being as
forthright as you will be, is a brand new experience. Your focus will be on commercial transactions, making announcements,
literary publications, learning a new exotic language, an instrument or
developing an unusual skill. This is not necessarily a time for university studies
although if you are of that age, of course, it could be part of this transit
but your mind is not too interested now in delving deep into one subject alone.
Sounds like a fun time, right? Along with Jupiter in your sign, the next twelve
months seem to usher in a whole load of new people too that you can connect and
