Aquarius, part of you wants to have fun, you’re in the mood
for romance and you want to be free to be yourself. For the first part of the
month, you manage to do so pretty well but there is always that slight niggle
and pull that reminds you of you responsibilities and that – most of you I’d
imagine – have to work for a living. At the beginning and until around 15th of the month, you are reminded
of that. Bosses, co-workers and those you look after, take care of and surround
yourself with in your daily life require your attention and call on you to help
them with their own issues, sorrows, needs and either literally their financial
debt or their karmic ‘imbalances’. Phew, sounds exhausting, no wonder that
you’ll want to spend some time by yourself around the time of the full Moon on
10th August in Capricorn. Cast your thoughts back to what happened in November
and February 2013. Now that Saturn, your ruler, moves forward again, you’ll be
able to complete something or get over something that began back then. For
some, this could be a matter of wellbeing, the need to withdraw, be by the sea
or go to a retreat – anywhere where you can find some balance without getting
pulled into arguments, conflict and disagreements. It’s the full Moon in the
sign before yours, so it’s all about regaining some strength, energy and gut.
This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Uttara Ashada, ruled
by the Sun. Under this nakshatra, we are calm in the eye of the storm, we are
able to detach ourselves and therefore maintain a sense of independence that
ensures we don’t let things get to us. Full Moons can always feel a little
intense – Mars is squaring the full Moon, putting us in danger or overacting
(again, sigh!!). Luckily, this nakshatra is a dignified one and although the
stellium in Cancer can make us a little needy, the emotional side seems to be
more grounded. And this looks to be quite important in your case with such an
emphasis on the 6th house of conflict and arguments and your solar 9th house of far-away travel,
philosophy, publishing, studies and religion this month. These are two somewhat
conflicting concepts – part of you want to get away and travel the world, part
of you has to deal with petty disputes.
This won’t last long as the
planets one after the other start gathering in your opposite sign and put the
emphasis on relationships. You’ve been in quite a romantic mood in the past
years and with so much of a focus on partnerships, you’ll certainly be in the
mood for some romance. Maybe it’s time to make up too; perhaps you have had to
have a word with your partner and now, you’re keen to sort things out. It’s
also a good time of course to reach out – make contact, go out with friends,
join a club, whatever channel is most comfortable for you. It’s a good time to
discuss the boundaries of a relationship, what works for you and the other
person. Generally, it’s a good time to discuss contracts of all kind including
business and legal ones.
Ahead of the first eclipse in
September following the move into the Pisces / Virgo axis, Rahu now opposes
Uranus in Pisces. Eclipses alone introduce big changes but with Uranus, the
planet of sudden change, involved in this particular eclipse cycle, events over
the coming weeks and months could be indeed life changing. Be prepared for the
unpredictable, life can now take an unexpected turn and you discover where you
truly belong. Generally speaking, this could involve meeting new groups of
people, an exciting new relationship, a change of career or developing a new
interest. It could also involve metaphysics, science, environmental interests
or technology. It’s a breakthrough time for sure and in your case, it’s all
about money. It’s about your income and that of your partner, it’s about loans,
mortgages, tax and insurance, inheritance and wills, investing other people’s
money but ultimately, it’s about diversifying your sources of income. Over the
next months or weeks, you may have to let go of something that’s of value to
you – so of course, this could be your income, temporarily, but it could also
be a change in your values.
The new Moon in Leo on 24th August is then a time to renew
your relationship, to have a fresh start and start dating. This time period
probably favours the singles more than those who are coupled up but in any
case, it’s a time of greater intimacy and willingness to compromise – not
always Aquarians’ strongest point. Have a great
