August 2014 horoscope - Pisces

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the August 2014 horoscope for birthdays from 15th March to 13th April or Pisces Ascendants and Moons

Pisces, there is a stellium in your fellow water sign of Cancer this month and it’s in your house of fun, creativity, children and romance. It’s in the area of your chart to do with self-expression – not just on stage but it also has to do with how you carry yourself and – in part – it has to do with the impression others take away from you when they meet you. It’s your ability to let your hair down once in a while and to not take life all too seriously. As a Piscean, you won’t have much of an issue with that. Many of you are going through a big change in life anyway that, once the transit has passed, leaves you with a real sense of individuality, freedom to be who you are and a foresight and inspiration that may have been lacking in the past. Even though it has been an explosive few moths recently, the stellium in Cancer, including your ruler Jupiter, is an open invite to have some fun, be creative and go out with some friends.

Especially the full Moon on 10th August in Capricorn is a time to go out and socialise but most importantly cast your thoughts back to what happened or what you wished for in November and February 2013. Now that Saturn, the ruler of your house of wishes is moving forward again, you should be getting closer and closer to what you had hoped to have in your life back then. You are very much supported by the planets at the moment and wish fulfilment in particular features strongly this month. For others, this full Moon can have a lot to do with the completion of a certain ‘project’, something close to your heart such as teaching, writing and publishing or ‘building’ something very unique. This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Uttara Ashada, ruled by the Sun. Under this nakshatra, we are calm in the eye of the storm, we are able to detach ourselves and therefore maintain a sense of independence that ensures we don’t let things get to us. Full Moons can always feel a little intense – Mars is squaring the full Moon, putting us in danger or overacting (again, sigh!!). Luckily, this nakshatra is a dignified one and although the stellium in Cancer can make us a little needy, the emotional side seems to be more grounded.

So, not only do you have a stellium in your house of fun and romance, your relationship sector is also emphasised with Rahu / the North node beginning to make its presence felt. Ahead of the first eclipse in September following the move into the Pisces / Virgo axis, Rahu now opposes Uranus in your sign. Eclipses alone introduce big changes but with Uranus, the planet of sudden change involved in this particular eclipse cycle, events over the coming weeks and months could be indeed life changing. Be prepared for the unpredictable, life can now take an unexpected turn and you discover where you truly belong. Generally speaking, this could involve meeting new groups of people, an exciting new relationship, a change of career or developing a new interest. It could also involve metaphysics, science, environmental interests or technology. It’s a breakthrough time for sure and in your case, it all has to do with your committed relationships which could suddenly come and go, involve ‘exotic’, unusual or very individualistic and independent people. It also has a lot to do with you freeing yourself from shackles – if you’ve felt any in the past years.

On top of that, the emphasis on the 5th and 8th houses in your chart this month carries a sense of fun with a deeper meaning, self-expression that entails bigger personal transformation, taking a speculative risk that potentially carries big financial rewards or having fun with your partner to grow closer together again.

The new Moon in Leo on 24th August is then a time when, perhaps quite literally, you’re going back to work.  It’s a time to focus on daily life around you, your partner, family, children and your work. In all that, don’t forget to take it easy – avoid petty arguments with your loved ones and remember what fun you had earlier in the month. Don’t worry, you’ll soon have other things to focus on again than just your work! Have a great month, Pisces.
