Scorpio, work is the last thing on your mind this month –
at least for the first half. Instead you want to go after leisurely pursuits,
you want to travel the world and experience something new. When I look at your
chart, there is a sense of adventure there, you connecting with different
people from all sorts of places. There is something mystical, dreamy and
perhaps even outer-worldly in your chart. You seem to connect with people and
things very easily now and this lifts you up and puts you into a place – either
physically or mentally – that you’ve not been in or seen or heard of before.
The full Moon on 10th August in Capricorn is a time
of completion as well as revelation. You may hear news about a journey you’re planning,
or you’ll simply be involved in planning a journey, you’re drafting the outline
of your dissertation or you complete some form of studies or a training course
or you’re dealing with others who help you build your website presence. In any
case, there is a lot of communication around subjects such as traveling,
publishing, media, religion, philosophy and research. Cast your thoughts back
to what happened or what you wished for in February and November 2013 – now this
particular situation is being closed off, you’re done with it and you can move
on. In particular as Saturn, the ruler of the area to do with communication and
your own efforts is moving direct again, you should be getting closer and
closer to what you had hoped to initiate or progress in your life last year
around these times. In any case, news is on its way…
This full Moon is in the
nakshatra of Uttara Ashada, ruled by the Sun. Under this nakshatra, we are calm
in the eye of the storm, we are able to detach ourselves and therefore maintain
a sense of independence that ensures we don’t let things get to us. Full Moons can always feel a
little intense – Mars is squaring the full Moon, putting us in danger or
overacting (again, sigh!!). Luckily enough that this nakshatra is a dignified
one and although the stellium in Cancer can make us a little needy, the
emotional side seems to be more grounded.
Ahead of the first eclipse in
September following the move into the Pisces / Virgo axis, Rahu / the North
node now opposes Uranus in Pisces. Eclipses alone introduce big changes but
with Uranus, the planet of sudden change involved in this particular eclipse
cycle, events over the coming weeks and months could be indeed life changing.
Be prepared for the unpredictable, life can now take an unexpected turn and you
discover where you truly belong. Generally speaking, this could involve meeting
new groups of people, an exciting new relationship, a change of career or
developing a new interest. It could also involve metaphysics, science, environmental
interests or technology. It’s a breakthrough time for sure and in your case, it’s all about your hopes, wishes, the future as well as financial
profits, your friends, group involvements and acquaintances, social engagements
and getting involved with the right people at the right time. Many Scorpios are
now getting involved with a group of people that to some may be considered
eccentric, unusual and different. Equally, as you meet all kinds of new people
from all walks of life, your interests could also change like the wind or you
could develop a whole range of new hobbies. Exciting times for you!
Then, the emphasis on your 9th and 12th houses in your chart this month
carries with it themes of not only travelling but also retreat. You need a rest
and you want to get away for a while. Perhaps you are also working on some
project that you are planning to launch in September when your ruler Scorpio
enters your sign – you’ll be full of beans then. In the meantime, go on that
holiday and take a breather.
In terms or romance, Venus in
your travel sector for most of the month might be there for a good reason. If
you do manage to get away, then nothing speaks against a little holiday
romance! September looks much better for romance, so while of course you could
meet someone now, the emphasis really is on being on holiday before the new
Moon in Leo on 24th August comes along as a prompt reminder that the summer and the holiday
season are nearing its end. It really is back to work for you with a new Moon
in your career sector introducing new impetus, input and keenness to get
involved and stuck in again. You’ll be ready to talk business again, face
clients and deal with their needs, take on big projects or prepare to launch
