The month begins with the full Moon in Cancer on 3rd February which falls into the area of your chart to do
with imbalances of all kind, arguments and a general focus on what you should
do to make yourself feel better. So, less stress, less sugars, less drink, less
partying. Together with Jupiter in the same area in your chart, all of the
excesses or any kind of imbalance could be magnified, brought to light and
multiplied. For some of you, this has to do with financial matters, income and
additional profits which are under some pressure and up for change anyway. Whatever
happened in August 2013 around any of these matters is moving to the next
level.
At the same time, if you are single, you may be feeling the lack of a
relationship more acutely than usually. Your focus these days is on work, your
career as well as your entire life direction – this doesn’t mean that
relationships are out of the question but, this month, you may be feeling the
pressure of work vs. balancing your social life and being carefree enough to
wholeheartedly enter a new relationship. And that’s fine, there will be a
reason why you need to concentrate on work at the moment, you just need to get
to grips with some of your ideals and perhaps even illusions being confronted
with reality, understanding situations that are difficult to comprehend and
where you have been unable to see things for what they are this time period
will help you establish a more accurate picture. This means your own weak
points can become more apparent to yourself and others and you may lack the
certainty about yourself and your future that comes from having confidence. However,
with both Venus and Mars in your sign for some part of the month, not being
confident enough is not looking too likely, it seems to be more of a matter of
work or your responsibilities out there in the world taking up a lot of your
time and energy – more than a freedom loving and independent Aquarius would
like. Now, if you are single, then the first two or so weeks in February can
play out very differently as soon as the Sun enters your sign on 13th, meaning you are more likely to focus on relationships,
wanting to make a commitment or open up to something new.
This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Aslesha, ruled by Mercury. During
this time, you are thinking about your feelings and it is the nakshatra of the
‘Entwiner’. You may get tangled up and entwined in your own and other people’s
emotional dramas but you may also just ‘get involved’ with other people. Being
‘entwined’ is fine in certain circumstances, for example, when the child needs
a close emotional bond but when the child becomes an adult, the mother needs to
start letting go an ‘untangle’. So during this time, you may be reluctant to
let go as your emotions take precedence over much of the other things in your
life and the area ruled by the Moon, especially with Jupiter nearby, becomes of
great importance.
With both Mars and Venus travelling through your sign and later on through
Pisces together, this is a time when some of you have real creative and futuristic
inspirations and whereas before, you had a slight inkling, a vague idea and
nascent emotions about something, now it hits you right in the face, it’s put
at your feet, it knocks at your door – quite suddenly and without warning. To
make it more precise, the keywords, themes, issues or opportunities, you’ll be
faced with pretty much all month are: your creative ideas and how you can turn
them into something more profitable, income and career and challenges that need
to be overcome, illusions and misunderstandings that need to be looked at with
clarity and accuracy.
The new Moon on 18th February in your sign is another planetary configuration
that is conjunct Neptune. It seems as though a lot of what’s happening this
month feels like it is touched by magic, sudden fireworks and intuitive
decision-making. For you, it’s a new start to do with yourself of course (happy
birthday!!) but not before you do some letting go around relationship ideas and
ideals, facing relationship challenges head on as you (and / or your partner)
are not willing to pretend and keep up a façade anymore. For some, external
influences may push you into facing some of the personal and relationship
obstacles that have been lurking underneath the surface anyway…Have a great
