February 2015 horoscope - Taurus

I follow the sidereal calendar; this is the February 2015 horoscope for birthdays from 16^th May to 15^th June of Taurus Ascendants and Moons

Taurus, Saturn in your opposite sign has been your companion or opponent, rather, since November and even though he’s a lonely figure in your relationship zone these days, his presence is omnipresent and all-consuming, amplified through Venus, your ruler and Mars travelling hand in hand through Aquarius this month, the sign ruled by Saturn. So, translated and in plain English, this means that your relationships and what you want to get from life in general and your vocation is under a certain amount of pressure at the moment. Your boss could be opposing your wishes and your partner may be less understanding of your needs. If you are single, then this is a time period when the lack of a relationship is felt more than in the past months. However, this is an excellent situation to be in! It forces you to look at what you want and how you can ensure you take the right steps to get there.  

The Moon in Cancer on 3^rd February falls into the area of your chart to do with short-distance travel, hobbies, new training, siblings and neighbours and it’s a very busy time for you. For those who are single, this may be a time to launch project ‘Find-Mr/Mrs-Right’ through the various communication channels out there, while for others, it’s a time for completion, for example of a driving or a cooking course, a work project or you unveil your new website to the public….whatever happened in August 2013 is moving to the next level. For some Taureans who are married, this is a time when your marriage and the foundations of your union need to be or will be looked at and debated.

This full Moon is in the nakshatra of Aslesha, ruled by Mercury. During this time, you are thinking about your feelings and it is the nakshatra of the ‘Entwiner’. You may get tangled up and entwined in your own and other people’s emotional dramas but you may also just ‘get involved’ with other people. Being ‘entwined’ is fine in certain circumstances, for example, when the child needs a close emotional bond but when the child becomes an adult, the mother needs to start letting go an ‘untangle’. So during this time, you may be reluctant to let go as your emotions take precedence over much of the other things in your life and the area ruled by the Moon – pretty much all your day to day interests, hobbies, team meetings, siblings and communication – and with Jupiter nearby, these become of great importance.

Then, both Venus and Mars travel hand in hand through Aquarius and then later on through Pisces from mid-month. This is a time when some of you have real creative and futuristic inspirations and ideas and it means that whereas before, you had a slight inkling, a vague idea and nascent emotions about something, now it hits you right in the face, it’s put at your feet, it knocks at your door – quite suddenly and without warning. To make it more precise, the keywords, issues or opportunities, you’ll be faced with pretty much all month but in particular from mid-month are: your hopes and dreams, work and career, bonuses and profits, friends and your wider network.

The new Moon 18^th February in Aquarius feels like this time period is touched by magic, sudden fireworks and intuitive decision-making. For you, it’s all about work and career and where you want to head towards in life – which will be in some conflict with what is going on in your relationships and vice versa.
