October 2012 forecast - Pisces

I follow the sidereal calendar; this forecast is for birthdays from 15^th March to 13^th April

Pisceans start of the month the Sun in the solar 7^th house, shining its light onto the others in your world.  Others might now have more control over you or you identify with their needs more readily. The new moon mid-month plants a new seed around all things relationship related – the fruits of which are likely to be seen 9 months from now.

Venus is in the 6^th house of work and health so this is a good time to build some pleasure into your work life or find more pleasure in your fitness routine and habits. With Neptune in opposition, this can also be a compassionate time or you might have to sacrifice some of your time due to minor health issues or something outside of your usual routine.

Jupiter is going retrograde in your solar 3^rd house in early October. All of the expansion around communication, writing, teaching, your local environment, how you think and learn – this would have been a good time to get along with siblings – is being integrated now, it is deepened and you might start applying what you’ve learned so far in this area since the summer.

Saturn has now firmly settled in your 8^th house of joint finances and other people’s money after keeping the pressure on your one-to-one relationships for the past years. This would have been a time of letting go of old habit in relating to others. For some, certain unsustainable partnerships left your life. There certainly would have been limitations around these areas and your endurance in relationships was tested.  It was a time of restructuring, firmer boundaries and maybe some increased responsibilities in relationships. Often, however, people with this transit entered a serious partnerships that went deeper than what they’ve know before.

Saturn in this house also squared Pluto and opposed Uranus – relationships would have certainly seen a shake-up as you would have been less willing to accept everything that was put in front of you.

Saturn now moves into an area that has to do with trust. It’s about psychology and other people’s resources. After a tough couple of years in relationships, Saturn in this house will help you regain some of the trust you might have lost.

The next 2.5 years are not such good time for large investment, forcing you to think more about how you share your resources with others – buying, selling, reselling, your partner’s finances will require some restructuring. Mercury is also in the 8^th house so your mind will be on these areas and this will also what you communicate about. The full moon at the end of the month puts the focus on these areas – watch out for further developments in this area in nine months.

The North node is still in your 9^th house of publishing, traveling, the big picture, the higher mind, beliefs and higher education where it has been putting the focus on these areas in your life for over a year. During this transit, there may have been some eruption or change in this area or indeed your home life with Jupiter in opposition in the 3^rd house too. In Vedic astrology, wherever Rahu sits, we desperately want to achieve something. You might have been keener to expand your horizons. With Mars in Scorpio too this month, there may be a strong desire to really dig deep into a subject and discover what’s really underneath the surface. Rahu also challenges whatever it touches, so perhaps you’re thinking about publishing something that might be a bit controversial or challenges existing concepts.
