The solar eclipse took place at the end of Libra, not far away from the beginning of your sign, so those born on or 16th, 17th or 18th November or those with the very early degrees of the sidereal Scorpio Ascendant and Moon would have felt this eclipse most strongly. Those with their Moon in Scorpio are just emerging from what might have been the most difficult two years of their lives. During the peak of the so-called 7 year Sade Sati period, a time that might have been filled with emotional trauma, separation from people that were very close to you and profound grief. During the next phase, when Saturn is in Libra, the feeling of loneliness may still prevail but you are able to remove yourself better from the situation. I already said it last month, but I really think that this time is a time of new beginnings for Scorpios. This is not a short-term process but a longer-term process and perhaps in a few months’ time, when you look back, you’ll only realise then that something has changed. This can relate to how you view the world and how others view you but it can also affect your intimate partnerships.
November
ended with a big bang lunar eclipse across your 1st and 7th houses. In the 1st
house and around the Ascendant in particular, the focus is on your personal
identity, self-development, -recognition and -esteem. Part of the take-away from
this eclipse was also to acknowledge your weaknesses and a certain lack of
strength in some areas. Relationships may have ended or any situation where you
were involved in a one-to-one relationship would have come to an emotional
turning point.
As
we move more and more into December, more and more planetary activity is taking
place in your 1st house of self and self-development. Mercury is moving out of
your house of behind the scenes activities on 6th December, followed by Venus
on 12th December. At this point at the latest, you should really feel like joining
in the festive spirit, going out, meeting people and having a good time and
really moving on from what you had to let go off in November. You’re priorities
start changing this month where the focus is back on yourself, asserting
yourself and putting your best foot forward.
As
every month, there is also a new Moon on 13th December which coincides with
Uranus going forward in your 5th house of fun, true love and creativity. The
year, especially since the summer, has been a year of partnering with others
and a year for opportunities in love and romance. However, if you have felt
that your love life was somewhat unpredictable and lover were coming even before
you were able to remember their name, rest assured that things will be looking
a lot better in December but certainly as enter the new year with Jupiter going
direct again at the end of January in your 7th house of committed
relationships. This is a time to reap the rewards of the dating game, in
particular with Venus in your sign too in December.
In
Indian astrology, this December 2012 new Moon falls in your solar 1st house in
the nakshatra (the chart is divided into 27 sections or nakshatras) of Jyestha.
This nakshatra is said to be an independent one and where we have to do things
by ourselves. In this nakshatra, we can’t rely on others but have to take the
position of leader. This position also tells me that although you may do better
now to go it alone – or maybe just follow your own interests for the time being
– don’t be stubborn and aggressive with it. Scorpio is a slightly aggressive
but very secretive sign so make sure you keep all channels open and don’t blow
anything out of proportion.
We’re
all going through turbulent times and we be philosophical about everything but
December will be the start of a new beginning with a lot more progress compared
to the past weeks and months. Despite the internal pressures due to Saturn in
your 12th house, you have the chance to really commit to someone – you have
Jupiter in the 7th house which can mean an increased number of people to choose
from too! - and once Saturn leaves this house (I know, not for a while) you
will be able to reap the rewards of the seeds you sow now.
In
terms of your financial situation, you have Mars in your 2nd house alongside
Pluto until the 19th December. This means that the energy you put into
improving your earning potential can go through the roof or, if you have been
in discussion about a pay rise, then it may be good news for you. The ruler of
your 2nd house is still retrograde so maybe, the pay rise won’t kick in until
early next year. The month then ends with the full Moon across your 2nd and 8th
house axis. This time will bring things to a close and a peak, so have a think
about what happened around the July 3rd full Moon as well as first quarter Moon
on March 30th 2012. Anything that shifted then will be part of the story now.
If you are awaiting a loan or any situation about money coming to a conclusion,
you will see progress now.
